Change floats into the zone letter high, inner half, 1-1 (93 on that change)
Change to the knees in a middle, he tries to time it, but is late and under, fouls it off 3rd, 1-2
Gil sets, then steps off.
Flies open, and loses the change way outside and also high, 2-2
Flies open again, and the FB is 2 feet high, Trevino saves it with the rising snag, 3-2
Slow down, Luis.
Bad location on a change in the drop the bat happy zone and Valdez smashes it to deep center, over Judge, he turns to play the carom, double scores Devers, Yoshida to 3rd wiht 1 down. 3-1 Yanks.

FB well high inside middle, chased for the K, inning over.
Sox get 1 back, Yanks still lead 3-1, going top 5.
Red Sox make Gil work hard for the 2nd straight inning, 25 pitches this time, and 74 total. Might not make it through 5 unless he can find his rhythm and slot again.
Yanks need to at least get him some rest this inning; at least it's the top of the order due in: Volpe, Soto, Judge.
