Ravens vs. crows… Ravens are larger Crows make the caw! Sound. Ravens sound like a throaty grunt Crows with a split tail, ravens have a solid tail Crows flap wings constantly flying, ravens glide with occasional flaps. I like ravens more… Nevermore...

Phew. Gets him with the high heat. Really, really high heat. He couldn’t have hit that on stilts…

I like Poe, too. Fascinating to read the thoughts of a madman…

Volpe gets his 3rd look at Bello tonight... Takes a slider outside, waist high, 1-0 Starts the slider at his body, he opens up, takes it breaking onto the inner half, 1-1 Slider outside above the knees, 2-1 Sinker just inside middle, thigh high, knocked to the left of 2nd, but far enough away from Hamilton so that he had no shot, leadoff single, Good start.

gil Ks rafeala to bounce back and end the inning. This qualifies as a bad start for Gil. Isn’t he amazing?… for sure. i'm listening but sounded like he was out of whack. wondering if it was blake who helped him get back on track.

Soto bluffs bunt, takes a change into the middle, letter-high, 0-1 No but shown that time, takes the change diving low/away 1-1 Sinker misses just low inside middle, this time, Bello doesn't geet the call, 2-1 Chases a slider hanging just high near the corner away, fouls it straight back. Might not have gotten the call on that one, anyway. 2-2 Takes his timeout Slow move, soft toss to 1st on Volpe Change tails outside at the top, 3-2 Bello comes set, then steps off, resets. Volpe goes, and Soto gets a change in the zone low/away, fouls it down. Volpe goes, Soto misses a change in the zone low/away, the throw bounces and Volpe beats the play, the hand comes off, but not till the foot is on the base. Stolen base #14

1st pitch to Volpe is a slider outside, and Volpe goes to 3rd and makes it as the throw is not handled by Devers, takes a knee from Devers to the helmet, Boone and the trainer out to check on him, he seems OK, Stolen base #15 puts Volpe on 3rd with Judge up and 1 out and forces the Sox to bring the infield in. Get the men with children off the field!
Slider outside is 2-0 Sinker well inside makes it 3-0 Sinekr backs over the outside corner above the knees, 3-1

Change knee high in the middle fools him, he swings over it, 3-2 Slider is low and enough and far enough outside so that not even this ump can ring him up for the ꓘ again. 1st and 3rd, 1 down for Verdugo.
Yanks have gotten Gil some rest, no matter what else happens this inning.

Change misses low to Verdugo. I can see them pitching around, then trying to get a DP ball from Stanton. Change almost bounces low, 2-0.

Sinker in the middle knee high, Verdugo again goes hard the other way, lines it to the corner in left, flies over Duran's leaping try, hits the bottom of the Monster, Volpe scores, Judge to 3rd on the RBI double from Verdugo, 4-1 Yanks!!

Imagine being an infielder directed to play in against Stanton? …
