Change near the corner away, popped to left, easy play for Duran, inning over.
3 flyouts, another easy 1-2-3 for Kelly, and just 9 pitches.
Bottom 7, 5-1 Yanks.
2-3-4 for the Sox in the 7th, Hamilton, O'Neill and Devers. Two of them are lefties, so Ferguson should be staying in.

Sleep is probably what you need. I’ve picked up a cough lately. Don’t really feel bad. Maybe from mowing… Never pick up a cough. Leave it where you find it and move on. O'Neill is the only Sox who's faced Ferguson, he's 0-1 against him.
Takes a slurve on the outer 3rd, 0-1
Swings over a slurve below the knees, 0-2
Cutter bounced outside, 1-2
FB down the middle at 93, fouled
Bounces a back leg slurve, 2-2
Cutter just inside, pulled foul.
Slurve in a bad spot down and in, the drop the bat happy zone, pulled foul, just missed it.
FB tails just a bit, stays 3-4 inches outside above the waist, foul tipped into the mitt, K, 2 down.

Sinker below and inside middle, and he blasts it the other way, just gets over the yellow line wall in deep left center for a 2 run HR, and Verdugo's blast gives the Yanks a 2-0 lead!!!  |

Excellent strategy here, facing Devers with 2 outs and nobody on up by 4. Who says Boone doesn't know what he's doing?
Cutter catches a piece of the corner away, 0-1
Cutter misses low on the outer 3rd by 1/2 inch, Ferguson gets the call anyway, 0-2
FB just above middle at 92.6, Devers somehow misses it clean for the K, inning over.
Ferguson pitched great tonight, much to my surprise. 16 pitch 1-2-3 to strike out the side; faced 4 batters, K'd all four, on 21 pitches total.
Sure could use this Ferguson more often.
Stanton, Rizzo, Torres for the Yanks in the 8th.
