I would probably play Frazier over Holliday. He had a big September, feel like he earned if over Holliday who was somewhat unimpressive. Hmmmmm, maybe. Then Frazier goes to 3B and Headley is the DH. You know Joe will go with Holliday though I think. I wouldnt be shocked either...hopefully Frazier though because its better defensively and the hotter bat.

He's had some spectacular moments and some awful ones. Overall numbers: .247/.305/.427. in 302 PAs. So I don't think there is a "Matt Holliday is clutch in the playoffs" argument unless you count overall experience or cherry pick his good moments.

Hmmmmm, I'm a fan of Cashman's Guy so I applaud him starting in CF. I would make Ellsbury the DH the way he has played the last month.

I worry that the Yankees will win 37-0 and use up all their bullets for the rest of the games...Yeah...I worry about that...I'd give anything to see that one...I think I could lose the rest and be good with it knowing that we're coming back next year and for years and years after...

I just want them to get past this stupid 1 Game playoff bs. Obviously I want them to go as far as they can, but I know they are better than the twins and this will be worse than the 2003 WS for me if they lose this. Im obviously realistic about agains the indians I think they can be competitive, but I know that series will be a tough one and it will take alot of effort to beat them etc, but nothing annoys me more when they lose to teams they are miles better than and the 2003 World Series was a prime example of that. I still to this day do not understand how they lost that one with the Aaron boone momentum etc.

Let's hope Santana is off early and we jump to a lead in the first couple of innings! Don't underestimate the Twins though. They have been playing good baseball for a couple of months now and have a dangerous lineup and a pitcher who can beat anyone when he is on.

I understand, but they have a 170 run difference in run differential the yankees are +198 and the twins are +21. I also feel this team could have won 100 games if they didnt fall apart in August. Their bullpen is not as good as the yankees either. If this was as much as a 3 game series I think the yankees win easily. I'm still pretty confident, but one game doesnt leave much room for error.

[rofl] I think its because its not a guarantee to be in the playoffs anymore yearly, before if they lost early I would be disappointed, but I was like oh well theres always next year. Just the fact this team made the playoffs every single year from 1995 to 2007 without missing one is beyond amazing and I don't think i appreciated that at the time as much as I should have.

Yea I definitely did not appreciate our championship run from 1996 to 2001 enough that's for sure. I think I appreciated our 2009 championship a lot though.
