Can Chad Green get us through the 3rd inning or is that asking too much of him length wise? We know Robertson can get us 2 innings. I'm trying to think of ways to bridge us to the end of the game, but I'm having a hard time. We will probably have to get Gray or Sabathia into the game to give us 2-3 innings.

Sonny gray is on normal rest. He last pitched thursday so hes on the normal 4 days rest. FWIW it was announced Kluber is pitching game 2 not game 1. |

I think Gray should come in after Green. Just my opinion. Gray is a nibbler, and for 2-3 innings I think it would serve the Yankees very well tonight. They wouldn't have to worry about his pitch count getting high. He'll have as many pitches to nibble as he needs in 2-3 innings of work to then bridge it to Robertson for 2 innings.
