I'd go to Robertson if Green can't get out of the inning.

I think Gray should come in after Green. Just my opinion. Gray is a nibbler, and for 2-3 innings I think it would serve the Yankees very well tonight. They wouldn't have to worry about his pitch count getting high. He'll have as many pitches to nibble as he needs in 2-3 innings of work to then bridge it to Robertson for 2 innings. Looks like Robertson first. They prob only want to bring in Gray for a fresh inning.

I could also see a scenario where Robertson gets the Yankees through 5, and then they go with Kahnle, Warren and Betances to get them through the 6th and 7th, and then they ask Chapman to get a 6 out save.

Man, this is a tight strike zone.

Tough to pitch to zone this tight.

If on, Warren can go two innings. If Betances is sharp, he definitely goes two innings.

Robertson limited the damage, but a run scored to tie it at four.

I'm just buckling in. This game is going to go well past 12am with all of the pitching changes and likely runs still to be scored.

My heart can’t take this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I was at the rangers game 6 game this year versus ottawa. They were down basically the whole game it was terrible. Just such different emotions than sitting there for a regular season game least this one the yankees weren't down for long.

Bird has a great approach to the plate. He's so patient, and he sees the ball well out of the hand. Great swing.
