Fb at the top fouled, 0-2
Slider down and in, 1-2
Fb inside middle, FB grounded past the mound, Mateo comes fast, Henderson stops, Mateo stops and the ball sneaks between them into center for a single. Big gift on the miscommunication. Happens to very good teams, too, guys.

Slider in the middle, swung on and missed, 1-1
FB at the top in the middle, fouled, 1-2
Sinker bounced outside, 2-2, got away from Rutschman a bit, but Volpe stays put, down by 4.
Sinker on the low outside corner, tapped softly up the 1st base line, Perez charges from his falloff on the 3rd base side, double clutches, throws low, Mountcastle can't catch, but Soto beats it anyway for another cheap hit.

O's bringing Yennier Cano to face Stanton, a bad matchup for Stanton, unless he hangs a sinker or a change.
Stanton is 1-4 with a K vs. Cano.

Sinker waist high, outside corner, taken 1-1
And he DOES hang a sinker and Stanton hits it, VERY HARD, belts it into Monument Park, and I'm not sure there are enough "wells' to cover this one, pres!. 3 run shot makes it a game again, 5-4 O's!!!!
