100% effort on a ball in the gap that tipped off his glove. What were you expecting?… so much Oswaldo love, I'll back off!

could get ugly right here Can't blame you for thinking that, pres, so did I. But Cousins came through. Maybe they have something here, 95-6 FB and sharp slider.

The Yankees have to play an infielder in the OF because Dominquez and Pereira can't stay healthy and Cashman was done a terrible job providing this team with depth. There are road blocks to depth. Stanton is the big one. DJ’s slippage into old man territory is another…

Torres fouls off a change in the zone down and in, 0-1 Change inner 3rd, waist high, fouled off again, 0-2 Slider out of the zone low and away, he gets an excuse me butt out flip swing, and the flare drops into center for a leadoff single.

Cousins is another pitcher with a good career hits to innings pitched ratio and a good career Strikeout to innings pitched ratio.

Smart pitcher.. Knows Wells will jump early, gives him a change diving in the zone low/away, swings early and over, 0-1 Slider low away, taken, 1-1 Curve above middle hit sharply down 1st but just foul, 1-2 Flies open on a cutter, misses up but also outside, no chance for a chase there. FB above middle, late and fouled off, still 2-2 Missed a good pitch to hit on that one, Austin. Bassitt steps off and resets. Sinker waist high, not even moving from off the plate inside, taken for strike 3, Torres tries to steal, but Kirk guns him down with a great throw, killing another inning. K-CS DP makes me SMDH.

Wells takes strike 3 and then hangs Gleyber out to dry.

Wells has to swing at that strike three over the plate. What pitch are you looking for?

If Toronto is smart they keep Bassett in no matter what his pitch count is.
