Come on Joe... "This is just what he is as a starter" after what five stats That came off the wrong way. I dont mean to say that hes a guy whos gonna have a 6 ERA as a starter in the long haul. More-so meant that he has the stuff but perhaps not the polish right now to be more effective than a #5 guy. Hes only 25 but hes also been in professional baseball since 2010 (when he was 17) so I question, at least slightly, how much more hes going to be able to truly develop.

He lost developmental time due to TJS though!! His stuff is good.. but we've seen first hand you can have amazing stuff but without control/command, you're FUCKED.
Ala... Pineda, Eovaldi, Farnsworth, Burnett, Joba (sorta)

Off Topic but I DON'T GIVE A FUCK!!! (I'm a MOD! Kinda like how cops feel the way the law don't apply to them... )
Which of the pitchers I named above (Pineda, Eovaldi, Farnsworth, Burnett, Joba... we need a name for this crew... and if we had one more starter like them, we'd have five plus we could have Farnsworth as our closer...) was the most frustrating to watch? For me, it was Eovaldi... They all always seemed like they were one game away from getting this pitching thing figured out... but Eovaldi seemed to have these really dominate stretches of starts that made me think "it's clicked, we're good to go!!" Even now I think he got it figured out. In my mind, right before he hit the DL, it clicked and now that he's with Tampa... he's gonna excel there and everybody's gonna say it was NY holding him back, he couldn't handle the pressure, but seem to forget he started out in Miami and struggled there as well..
Anyways, I can keep talking in circles about Eovaldi and him figuring it all out.. but we've all watched him pitched so ya'll know what I'm talking about...

I kinda felt the same way with Eovaldi. For some reason, I never had faith in Pineda to turn it around

When you said group that is unpredictable it reminded me of an episode of tv show it's always Sunny in Philadelphia. Charlie wanted to be nicknamed the wild card bc he's unpredictable. We can call them the wild cards lol. Feels like I went my whole life without hearing/seeing the word freckless and now twice in one week. My autocorrect doesn't even recognize it as a real word lol

Sierchio was referring to this as the first time he heard the word last week:
Samantha Bee hasn’t been fired like the President wants, but the late show host will be under TBS’ watchful eye.
The “Full Frontal” host, who has had full creative license over her show, will now be under “more scrutiny” from network management after calling Ivanka Trump a “feckless c--t,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Bee’s name-calling came during last week’s show during a monologue about the First Daughter and her “oblivious tweet” about her son while families were being torn about by immigration policies.
“Let me just say, one mother to another, ‘Do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless c--t. He listens to you,” Bee said.

Oh, wow............Does Bee still have a job, or did she join Roseanne in the "formerly employed" ranks?

Sad........both comments so vile........ah well......... Well, one was racist and one was vulgar. There's a difference.

Now someone has to come up with a vulgar and racist comment to top them both if they want to be in the news. Gotta love America...
I was thinking about how Americans so rightly and justly criticize the holocaust, which was indeed more horrible than anything we can imagine, yet in the formation of this country we went about our business of genocide on the native people of our land and enslaved so many others because of their races. Yes, races. The Chinese were basically enslaved to build the rail roads of the west...Indentured servitude was also blindly forgiven...
It's hard to not to think about the Native Americans when you live out in this part of the country. There is a quiet sadness about it...
