Rodon’s arguing removal probably made Boone want to take him out even more. He pitched better today, obviously. But he didn’t really pitch well. He needed to be pulled…

Rodon thinks Boone should have left him in. I think he forgot about giving up two HRs to weak hitters. He can throw the HR ball at anytime

1st pitch curve to Trevino stays outside, waist high, 1-0 FB misses up and away, 2-0 FB pretty much bounced over the middle of the plate, 3-0. Takes a slider way outside and down
Takes a sinker outside middle for a strike
Another slider well outside, 2-1
Takes a slider above middle, 2-2
Sinker inside bounced foul
Sinker on the low outside corner fouled
Slider below middle, lined hard to 3rd, but DJ is stading there, 2 down. Hung that one, was supposed to be outside or outside corner ended up down the middle.

Sinker at the knees is strike 2, not called, 50-50 on Gameday, bad call.
Slider low, 2-1. Trevino tries to pul it up, no sale

Sinker inside corner a foul tip, 3-2
Slider misses just low/away, good take is ball 4. 1st and 2nd, 2 down for Marte.

Slider backs up inside, ball 1 on Marte.
Sinker runs inside, knocking him back a bit, 2-0
Tonkin comes set, steps off.
Slider well outside, 3-0
Fb hits the top of the zone, outside middle, 3-1
FB runs in on him a bit, waist high, and pulled to DJ at 3rd, he gets the force at 2nd, inning over.
Bottom 6, 3-0 Reds.
Davis, Torres and Verdugo. Logically, Abbott should be in there to start the 6th, he hasn't been in much trouble, and his pitch count is low.
