Don’t worry folks. Chisholm is going to fix everything. Nevermind the starters can’t get you innings and the bullpen is a dumpster fire.

Now you know why Tomkin was released 3 times the first week or so of the season.

Duran takes a FB on the corner inside, not called, bad call, 25-30% on gameday, 1-0 Sinker way outside, 2-0 Backdoor slider is a makeup call, missed just outside at the knees, but called a strike, 2-1 Sinker at the knees, taken, 2-2 Slider bounced near the corner inside, 3-2 Sinker misses the low inside corner, close, but not near close enough, ball 4. Bases loaded, two outs for Abreu, and the Yanks are out of lefties, so...Kahnle again because "his changeup plays against lefties"?

AND THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T PITCH A SLAP HITTER LIKE THAT ESPECIALLY A LEFTY IN THIS PARK. This guy you challenge with FBs up and in adn defy him to pull it out to the deep right field. 8-6 Sox. The Baseball IQ of this team is less than zero. Probably 5 times tonight we have seen just plain dumbness The thing is bruner, I saw where the first three pitches were and I said "that probably won't work". I was thinking they have to challenge him up and in. But they didn't. And they paid for it.

Change above middle, Abreu leans back for no reason, takes it for a strike. Good change tails outside near the bottom Abreu chases, 0-2. Now make the needless location mistake...

Even if somehow tie or take the lead who pitches next? I would not feel safe with a 10 run lead

Change well low near the corner inside, Abreu chases, rolls it over to Rice, flips to Kahnle, inning over.
Top 8, 8-6 Sox.
Cabrera, then back to the top for Verdugo and Soto. I would guess Booser stays in unless he gets into trouble. He's at 15 pitches, but they probably want him to be able to stay in until at least Soto.

Either our sequencing lacks imagination (more a fundamental understanding of disrupting timing) or our pitchers do not have the ability to vary pitches and locations to properly sequence individual at bats.

Forgot the Sox have another lefty in Horn, he comes in to pitch the 8th. Cabrera takes a waist high sweeper on the inner 3rd, 0-1 Sweeper starts at him, breaks into the zone up and in, 0-2. Chases the FB above the zone for the K, on the inner half.
