Slider on the corner fouled, 0-2 Bounces a slider outside, 1-2 Bounces a slider low near the outside corner, 2-2 FB near middle, fouled off the right side. Slider on the outside corner, spoiled. Sinker inside hits Wong on the back elbow. 1st and 2nd, 1 out for Hamilton. And the pitching coach goes out to try to get something out of Tonkin tonight. |

They're pitching this guy like he's a power hitter, and it shouldn't work.

AND THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T PITCH A SLAP HITTER LIKE THAT ESPECIALLY A LEFTY IN THIS PARK.
This guy you challenge with FBs up and in adn defy him to pull it out to the deep right field.

You know what else gives Boston an advantage? Never pitching their left-handers inside. Tonkin was exclusively on the outside of the plate, eventually the batter leaned over and took advantage. Our sequencing stinks.
