I don't know the right thread to add this into, but these losses will continue until he address the root cause of our problems.
It's not an issue of talent. The issue is fabric. The issue is leadership. The issue is accountability.
There's no accountability on this team. Not from Hal, not from Cashman, not from Boone..... and honestly not from Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole. For Hal/Cash/Boone: they've never had to work to earn a spot to be in Major League Baseball. That's alarming.
However, I expect more from Judge & Cole. They need to be better leaders and nip things in the bud faster than later.
Wanting "camaraderie" all the time isn't good when players keep making the same mistakes on the field or when players refuse to run to 1st base. We're not a fundamentally sound baseball team. I think a lot of that is mistakes that continue to get uncorrected over time. That's on Judge/Cole.
Honestly, we don't have any real vets on the team since CC retired. Actually, since Brett Gardner retired. Any talk about disagreement or dissension has dissipated since that time. I think that's a bad reflection on Judge/Cole and must get fixed ASAP if we want to seriously win games in October.

The Duke... FB outside, 1-0 Fb outside, 2-0 FB down and in, 3-0 Cutter inside, and this will not be his first major league at bat, because he walked in his first MLB PA. Duke Ellis had 4 at bats with the WSox.

When I saw those from Boone about Verdugo, I first thought they were from a parody site, but they were real. He's delusional and I guess this organization picks and chooses who it lays down the law with and who can do whatever they want.

You can say Hal but you can’t expect the clubhouse or dugout to be his domain. This team for too long has had an indifferent attitude and just repeat the same tired cliches. We of course don’t know what happens behind closed doors but when is the last time you have seen any fire or intensity on that bench? Or on the field for that matter? Just the same silly choreographed celebrations. Stop the stupid pointing, hand signals and other nonsense and win some damn games.

I don't think it's the players responsibility to hold players accountable, that's on Boone and the coaching staff. I get that Boone is a player's manager but he gets carried away with it, defending guys in the media at all times and no players not named Gleyber Torres ever do anything wrong.

Just my opinion, but I would think the fastest way for a manager to lose his clubhouse is for him to criticize his players in the media.
