Smith takes a ball outside.
Splitter up and in, pushes a bunt down 3rd, Chisholm charges, barehards, but his throw is late and offline toward home, bunt single, 1st and 3rd, 1 out and with Langford up, this game might be about to get out of hand.

Sinker waist high, inside corner, fouled off his front foot.
Takes his timeout.
Stroman looks in, steps off.
Slider barely misses the outside corner, thigh high, taken, 1-2. Stroman got a break, missed by an inch or two on Gameday.
Throw over.
FB inside corner, fouled
Slider outside and low, lays off, 2-2, but Smith steals 2nd.
Sinker gets a piece of the low inside corner, takes, ꓘ. Didn't like the call, Langford argues, but it got a piece. Marginal, 5-10% on Gameday.

Lowe fouls off a sinker, inner 3rd and a bit up in the zone, 0-1
Sinker well inside, 1-1
Slurve hangs above and outside middle, Lowe stares at it, 1-2
Sinker inside corner, spoiled.
Slider drops just inside, knee high, Lowe swings over it for the K, inning over.
Top 3, 2-0 Rangers, and it coulda been a lot worse.
22 pitches in the 2nd for Stroman and 53 through 2.
Verdugo, Trevino, and back to the top for Torres for the Yanks in the 3rd.

Goes after a 1st pitch FB in the zone below and outside middle, slaps it to 3rd, Jung fields, throws him out. Hit it sharply but right at him. 1 down.

Torres gets a big break, cutter in the zone low/away, called a ball, 80% strike on Gameday
Takes a splitter outside middle, 1-1
Curve maybe grazed the inside corner waist high, marginal, called strike 2.
Slider outside middle, hit hard toward the middle, Smith gloves it with a slide to his left, gets up, but throws an 8 hopper way off line to the HP side, Lowe boxes it, goes into the camera well, Torres to 2nd on the single, E-6.
