FB down and in hit high to deep right center, Crow-Armstrong goes back to his left, catches on the edge of the track. Inning over. The wind is not a factor against HR today, in fact, it's blowing out to right at 8 mph.

Curve thigh high, outer half, driven to left center, gets to the wall for a leadoff double, bad start for Cole.

Swanson gets a slider down and in, fouled off, 0-1

FB yanked a bit, misses up and away, forcing Wells to lunge to the backhand to prevent the WP, 1-2
Bad slider near middle, Cole lucky it's not crushed, fouled it off.
Slider on the corner away, pulled to short, Happ goes for 3rd, and Volpe throws a strike to Chisholm and they get Happ by plenty. Bad baserunning move by Happ for a TOOTBLAN, 1 down.

Bad slider again, just below middle middle, but Suzuki misses under, fly ball to Judge in center is out #2.

FB on the corner away, grounded hard to 2nd, Torres boots it, kicks toward 2nd, he tries to recover, flips to Volpe, but not in time, E-4. 1st and 2nd, 2 down for Tauchman.

Tauchman takes a slider that misses the back door, 1-0
FB at the very top of the zone, outer half, 96, 1-1; 10-15% on Gameday
Cutter again on the high inside corner, taken, 1-2
FB at the top, inner half, humped up to 98, Tauchman spoils it.
Flies open some, misses almost a foot outside with a FB, 2-2
Cutter down and in, Tauchman stays with it, pulls it foul.
Cole looks in, then steps off, chases Swanson back to 2nd.
Curve had good drop but bad location, wound up in the middle, bounced foul near home.
FB inside corner below the top at 97, spoiled again. Tauchman working Cole over here.

9th pitch of the at bat was an attempt to back door a cutter, but it missed outside by 3 inches. Cole starts walking off, but he's wrong, it was 0% and not close.
FB near the high outside corner, it clips the edge on Gameday about 5%, doesn't get the call, and looks toward the dugout for help. Blake comes out to talk it over. The ump comes out and they question his calls politely.
Bases loaded, two down for Paredes.

Cutter on the corner away, blooped off the end of the bat to left center, Judge gets a bit of a late break on the big swing, can't get to it, falls in for a 2 run single. 2-0 Cubs.
