Fb misses well outside, he lays off, 1-2
Cutter below and outside middle, Haniger somehow takes it for the ꓘ, Nestor gets out of it. No idea what Haniger was thinking there. Denies the M's the tying run after Dominguez very bad play put him in trouble the whole inning.

Verdugo, then back to the top for Torres and Soto for the Yanks in the 3rd.

Ridiculous call on a 1st pitch slider to Torres, missed outside 5-6 inches, nowhere close, 0-1. Torres chirps about it, and he's right.
Curve low/away, taken, 1-1
Slider above middle freezes him, takes it, 1-2
FB up and in, makes him back off, 2-2
Splitter down the middle, above the knees, rolled over to Moore at 3rd, throws him out, 2 down.

Soto takes a splitter well low, 1-0
Splitter just inside below the waist, taken, 2-0
Gets a slider below and inside middle, and misses, fouls it off. Dang.
Curve drops low, inside middle, lays off, 3-1
Perfect FB to the high outside corner, doesn't get the Soto-call, 20% on Gameday. I'll be he gave a funny look at least, but it's a strike on Gameday.
Takes his timeout.
FB about 3 inches inside, he gets the hands in, rips a liner into the corner in right for a 2 out double. (I won't see it for another pitch, but that's my best guess.)

M's immediately IBB Judge to bring up Wells with 1st and 2nd, two down.
OK, OK, Soto's double was grounded down the line off the kickwall, and he had to hustle to beat the throw into 2nd.

FB barely misses below the outside corner, I bet Miller wanted that, but Gameday says it missed low by an inch, 0%
