Even though Volpe's home runs are down this season, his total bases have exceeded last year's. His ability to walk this year has been disappointing.

Even though Volpe's home runs are down this season, his total bases have exceeded last year's. His ability to walk this year has been awful. That was better earlier in the year; he's had a tremendous falloff in walks. |

YES is correct, last Volpe HR was August 3rd, and 42 games without one.
He hit HRs in back to back games on the 2nd and 3rd.
Volpe: 29 BB in 404 AB in the first half; 9 in 209 AB in the 2nd half.
