That play by Dominquez should have been an error, not that it really matters. They almost never score an error if the outfielder completely whiffs. He has to get a piece of it for an error, usually. |

They should change they way the score fielding decisions and use some common sense, heck they changed a lot of things about our great game, why not this? |

The Yankees have a RF in CF and a CF in LF. Maybe they should move Soto to LF. That's the difference between playing CF & a corner position. No concern for the walls... Hard ot know exactly where those walls are in a ballpark that is new to you. Ask Judge about that. |

Unlike Soto, Judge hits poorly against Eflin, 3-17 with 10 K.

Slider well outside, knee high, ball 4. Back to back walks for Soto and Judge give the Yanks a chance to make a move to come back.

Wasn't off the plate, Paulie, was on the corner. Same thing, though.
Goes after a sinker misses just low and away, slaps it to Urias at 3rd, a perfect DP ball, one 5-4-3 later and the rally is killed. Inning over.

We can expect a lot more walks to Soto and Judge for the remainder of the season, and especially in the playoffs, since they don't have any consistent hitters after them, that will make the pitcher pay for those walks.
