That's the difference between playing CF & a corner position. No concern for the walls... Hard ot know exactly where those walls are in a ballpark that is new to you. Ask Judge about that. Some believe CF is the toughest OF position to play. Actually, in many respects, it's the "easiest"... |

Throw over.
Cutter inside middle, bad location, but he misses inside/under it. Maybe it looked like a sinker going inside corner, 1-2
Slurve outside, Henderson goes, the throw is the new way, off 2nd to the right, Gleyber tags him on the butt, it's a close play, but he's out. Needed a perfectly located throw, but they got him, 2 down.
Slurve low and outside, 3-2
Cutter on the outside corner, swung on and missed, inning over.
Bottom 2, 3-0 O's.

Perhaps in technical details, like playing the corners and caroms, but players move from center to the corners when they age, not the other way around. CF requires much more speed and athleticism, and the greatest outfielders are all put in center until they show they can't handle it. |

It is the easiest in terms of the fly balls being true...but the most physically demanding. Way more ground to cover for sure. |
