That was a pretty good pitch by Rodon, but Noel got enough of it.
B. Naylor, swings under a 95 FB up and in, 0-1
FB misses high, outside corner, 1-1
Slider misses low in the middle, lays off, 2-1
Chases a FB 4-5 inches high, outside middle, misses, 2-2
FB in the zone above and inside middle, got under it, fly to right center, Soto goes in and right, 2 down.

yeah, we need some more clutch hits. Can't blow these early opportunities; their pen is too strong. For sure, jump on Cobb for some early runs. Judge is going to be annoyed when he sees a replay of that ball he fouled off. |

Takes a sinker down and in, 1-0
Maddux sinker swings back to the corner inside, Chisholm befuddled, takes it, 1-1
Takes the splitter well low in the middle, 2-1
Splitter misses outside, called a strike anyway, 2-2. Missed on Gameday, 0% by about 2 inches, and Jazz screams "NO!" and he's right.
And Cobb has the Maddux sinker working big-time, very bad sign for the Yanks, looks like he's getting fairly deep, hits the inside corner down and in for the ꓘ, 1 down.
