A clinic on how not to run the bases this inning. Guardians aren't the only ones being charitable.

My, oh my, oh my. I was just thinking when there was one out that I might consider subbing Waldo for Rizzo.

FB outer 3rd, up in the zone, tailed into the zone, taken, 0-2 on Torres. Bounces a slider outside, Rizzo starts to go, sees he's a dead duck, gets into a rundown, and is eventually tagged out at 3rd. Another TOOTBLAN, this one as bad, because the veteran Rizzo should know better, especially with 2 outs and he was already in scoring position. When I get in a foul mood, I start thinking neither one of these teams can take the Dodgers. Or the Mets.

Volpe does everything well? Really? Ever see him in one of his 6-week slumps? Volpe is one hit a week from being a very good ball player. "25 hits in 500 at bats is the difference between a .250 hitter and a .300 hitter." - Bull Durham And that week might be giving him a day off 7 times a year. He hits better when he's had some rest.

You know, if the Yankees go on to win this series, they better watch these first 2 games again...because if they play against either the Dodgers OR the Mets, the way they've played in these first two games, it's going to be a short World Series!

WTF! Why is he trying to steal third base?! Who manages this club anyway - oh yeah, that’s right.

Loved the movie, but that was unrealistic.

Top 7, 4-2 Yanks. 3-4-5 for the Guardians: Ramirez, J. Naylor and Thomas.

I concur. Strange that every other player gets "planned days off" except Volpe.
