Hill still in there...if this was a chess move, I'd annotate it as ?!?.
Ramirez takes a sinker outside, ball 1. Sinker at the knees, outer 3rd, pulled hard, but right to Chisholm, fields and throws him out, 104.5 on that hard grounder.

You know, if the Yankees go on to win this series, they better watch these first 2 games again...because if they play against either the Dodgers OR the Mets, the way they've played in these first two games, it's going to be a short World Series! Look im not saying this is world class baseball playing, but theres a lot of undisplicined teams all around this year. I've never seen a year like this.

Sinker inside, ball 1 on Naylor. Sinker above the zone, hit toward the 56 hole, but finds Chisholm standing right there in the fairly extreme shift, he has to backhand, set and fire, but Rizzo scoops the 1 =hop throw with no problems. 2 down. Now Boone goes to get Hill, brings in Kahnle, hoping to get 4 outs from him.

Volpe is one hit a week from being a very good ball player. "25 hits in 500 at bats is the difference between a .250 hitter and a .300 hitter." - Bull Durham There is no way a catcher could set the record in minor leagues for HRs while not getting many shots in the major leagues. Loved the movie, but that was unrealistic. Well, it was romantic comedy with baseball being the vehicle, not exactly a documentary. And, to set the record for minor league home runs, you essentially have to spend your entire career in the minor leagues, so someone has to have that honor.

Thomas... Takes a change well outside, knee high, 1-0 Kahnle hasn't pitched in 6 days... Change misses well low, outer half, 2-0 FB outer 3rd, fouled, 2-1 Change misses way high, 3-1 Whew, change drops on the edge of the corner up and away, 1% on Gameday, very very marginal, 3-2. Hangs a terrible change above middle, belted deep down the left side, but hooks foul, 3-2 FB misses 6 inches high, ball 4.
