Look im not saying this is world class baseball playing, but theres a lot of undisplicined teams all around this year. I've never seen a year like this. Both teams in this series making plenty of mistakes. Just like the Dodgers/Mets series. Baseball is a game of imperfection.

That was a... generous...strike. Brillant framing job by Austin Wells. He is getting good at that.

Why take out Hill after he got 2 quick outs and on a roll? Kahnle promptly walks the first batter he faces. Sigh. Boone's moves are an head scratcher.

Swings early on a change up in the zone tailing to the outside corner, 0-1 Chases a change diving way low near middle, 0-2. Change dives to the knees, outer half, but he gets a piece off the end of the bat, fouled off 3rd. Change at the very top, outside cornr, and he pulls it to Torres, throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 7, 4-2 Yanks. Kahnle needed 11 pitches to get the last out. He'll have to face Gimenez, Hedges and Rocchio if Boone leaves him in for the 8th.
Top of the order for the Yanks in the 7th: Torres, Soto and Judge. Let's see if they go to Gaddis now.

Gaddis in the game.
Torres is 0-2, 2 BB and 2 K's vs. Gaddis. Soto is 0-1 with 1 BB Judge is 1-5 with 2 K's.

Slider heavy righty, 45% about 89, FB 95-7 about 38%, change the rest of the time at 80. Slider is +18 runs in run value.

Torres... Takes a slider low and outside, ball 1 Takes a slider almost down the middle, 1-1 Tries to tail a change to the high outside corenr, just missed??? Gameday says no, 5%, Torres gets a small break. Slider into the top of the zone in the middle, taken, 2-2 Slider in the zone low/away, Torres gives a half swing, the wedge drops in front of Brennan for a leadoff single.
Did I ever mention how much....awww, you guys know the rest.
