Gimenez... Sinker at the top, fouled Sinker on the outside corner, takes it hard back up the middle for a single.

Vogt makes the obvious move, pinch hits Bo Naylor for Hedges, and maybe this is why they're warming Mayza? I dunno.

Cousins looking pretty good for not pitching in a coon's age.

That's what Naylor gets for trying to get hit on purpose.

Naylor should have just left the bat on his shoulder.

B. Naylor... Takes a slider low, 1-0 Takes a slider with good drop and bad location, below and inside middle, 1-1 Slider down and in, he starts but checks in time, 2-1 Tries to back the sinker over the inside corner, nearly hits him on the arm as he leans over, spins away, 3-1 Slider waist high, winds up inside, swing and a miss, 3-2 Slider low, outer 3rd, chases it for the K!!
Fine job by Cousins there. Welcome back to The Circle of Trustâ„¢, Jake! Top 7, 6-2 Yanks. Verdugo, then back to the top of the order for Torres and Soto in the Yankees 7th.

In thinking on the rally in the 6th.... Soto did his thing, never chasing, draws yet another walk. Judge didn't have to do everything, just hit it hard and got rewarded with a single. Stanton did what Stanton do.
And I noted earlier in the inning, Smith's stuff wasn't all there, 94-5 on the FB not 95-7. Now, the FB was a location mistake, and a very bad one, but the missing 2-3 mph helped Stanton catch up to it.
