The Yankee bullpen has been overrated all year long. But I won't blame them as much as I'll blame Boone for mishandling it...especially during these last 2 games. He's been playing game 3 and 4 like it didn't matter whether the Yankees would win either, because they'll win the last 2 at home. Yes, I think if we lose tonight, we'll lose tomorrow as well...why not? Boone doesn't seem to care, and it obviously shows. I agree he def pitched these two games with a cushion. This one isn't over, but I don't want to call the bullpen trash they held many leads in the royals series and the first 2 games of this one. |

Cutter down and in at 101, Volpe goes, the throw is offline to the 1st base side, Rocchio makes a diving catch and tag attempt, wants them to replay it, but they Guardians don't, because he was safe.
Volpe dinged on the slide, Boone checks it out, they play on. 2nd and 3rd, 0 outs, 2-0 on Wells.
