Pitch clock violation costs the Yanks an out.

They should just bring new pitchers in for a clean inning. It seems like when they start the next inning they give up a walk or a hit.

Oh, for spit's sake, Leiter holds the ball, and waist out Naylor who's running and they throw down, but the ump said he waited too long, calls a pitch clock violation, 1-0 on Noel. Slider hits the very top of the zone, inner 3rd, not called, marginal, 10% on Gameday, 2-0 Bad curve right down the middle, big hack fouled off and Leiter lucky it wasn't a bomb for 2 runs. Curve outside, 3-1 Backs a sinker over the outside corner near the top, fouled off, 3-2 Takes his timeout. Spltter?

Leiter needs to have his pitchcom looked at. They bring in another.

Looks like Noel got a pitch to hit and just missed it.

Leiter comes back to get Big Christmas. Good move right here by Boone. Yes, a good move by Boone. There, I said it.

Pitch clock violation costs the Yanks an out. Also maybe caused the out making Naylor leave while Leiter had the ball. Splitter drops waist high, inner 3rd, huge hack, but Noel misses under, pops high to Volpe behind and to the right of 3rd, 1 down. B. Naylor up with J. Naylor on 1st and 1 out, and Hill comes into the game. This is Hill's 3rd day in a row, 4 pitches on Thursday, 17 last night. In fact, HIll's pitched in every game this series. Got to get hit eventually. Hope it's not now.

Let's give a nice hand to Leiter...who's given the Yankees a lot more in these last 2 games, than I ever thought he could.

Not sure why, though. Downward plane of the splitter, rather than the horizontal plane from Hill. Noel has a bit of an upper cut.

Let's try and keep B. Naylor from wrecking the game here, OK, Hill?
