I think Boone wanted Leiter to face Noel, not Hill. Not sure why, though. Downward plane of the splitter, rather than the horizontal plane from Hill. Noel has a bit of an upper cut. Sounds reasonable. |

Sinker dives inside, and he just jackknifes out of the way while checking in time, 1-1
Sinker inside tied him up, but he serves a soft liner into right for a hit, J. Naylor stops at 2nd with 1 out. Got the hands in and got enough.

Sinker at the knees, medium chop up the middle to the right of second, Torres takes it with good timing, steps on 2nd, fires to first, and Hill does it again!! DP ends the inning.
Top 7, tied at 2.
Rizzo, Volpe and Wells for the Yanks in the 7th. Maybe against Smith, but maybe not, this is his 3rd day in a row. He's at 5 pitches so far.

94 FB waist high, outside middle and Rizzo gets another hit, sinking liner in front of left is a leadoff single, pinch runner? Maybe too early. Cleveland LF and CF should probably be playing Rizzo more shallow.
