Yanks take out Hill, go to Holmes for the fourth time in four games and five days. He'll face T. Hernandez at least, with Freeman at 1st and 2 down. Don't feel great about this. You can relax about his at least; he pitched great tonight, and he's almost certainly done for tonight, and probably tomorrow as well. |

Slider on the outer 3rd, below the waist, and he's just off-balance a bit, lifts a high fly to deep right center, Kike goes back and catches on the track, 2 down.

Soto takes a change thigh high, outside corner, 0-1 Slider to the knees, inner 3rd, he backs off, but it's strike 2. Takes his timeout a bit late. Gets the Soto-call on an almost perfect slider just above the low inside corner, 25-30% on Gameday. Swings over a change at the very bottom, inside middle, K, inning over. Yanks add an important insurance run on the Wells HR, lead 6-4, going top 7th. Mark "Swing and Miss Stuff" Leiter into the game to face Smith, Edman and back to the top for Ohtani. I hope he's got the good S & M stuff tonight. Waitaminnit. That's not right. Not right at all.  |
