Change hangs waist high, inside middle, but he misses, high fly to right of center is another easy play for Kike, inning over.
Hard to fault Volpe, but the Yanks blow another shot to keep the Dodgers down.
Yanks now 2-10 with RISP, the Wells double that scored no one, and Volpe's slam.

Regressing back to normal, after Volpe's GS... 2 on, no outs, no runs.... I am surprised there was not a DP in the mix... There is A LOT of game left..

Torres/Volpe have to be one of the worst DP combos in MLB I think it’s often Volpe’s feeds… They all have nutritionists these days, so he eats healthy. |

Swings over a slider that winds up just below the outside corner, 1-1
Whew.
Slider starts at him, breaks waist high, inside middle, fooled him, 1-2
Takes his timeout.
Bounces a slider outside, no chance to draw a chase. 2-2
98 sinker dives inside by 3-4 inches, he swings over it, K. 2 down.

Slider winds up down the middle, above the knees, takes it, 2-1
Sinker dives to the corner away above the knees, rolled over to Torres in the 34 hole, he fields throws him out, inning over.
Bottom 6, 5-4 Yanks.
About the best inning Holmes has thrown in a while, 12 pitches, and nothing remotely hit hard with 2 K's. Holmes at 13 pitches, total.
Wells, Verdugo and back to the top for Torres for the Yanks in their half of the 6th inning.
