He was 8 feet from the bag ... there was no need for Cole to cover More than 8 feet. I dont care what some ahole post on twitter ... Look at the play use your own Brain . That is a routine ground ball to 1B ... Pitcher would almost never cover there. Rizzo couldve and shoulve eaily beaten him to the bag especially under that situation where they despeartely needed a big play. Inexcuseable bone headed phat phuck play. Anyone that knows me knows I would jump at any any opprotunity to rip Cole .... thats not on him

Given that I never understood what they see in Rizo I guess I will be frustrated. 5 run lead that late in your own park. Awful

He would have easily beat Betts to the bag. Go look at that replay. Cole was on the other side of the mound after his follow through. No, Cole is standing there, just watching.

Judge takes a sinker inside at 98, ball 1. Takes a slider below and outside middle, 1-1 I may be seeing things, but I don't think Judge sees the ball well from Graterol FB in the zone up and in, swings under it, 1-2 Judge gets a big break; sinker at the knees, outer 3rd is strike 3, not called. 50/50 on Gameday. Takes a slider low and outside, 3-2 Sinker waist high, outer half, fouled off. Sinker dives inside, and Judge puts a decent swing on it, fouls it off. It was ball 4, but had great tail inside.

Joe Davis's Dodger homerism coming fully out on that last pitch to Judge.

Judge takes his timeout before the 8th pitch Wow!!! Judge gets an ENORMOUS BREAK, takes strike FOUR, sinker dives onto the corner away up in the zone and called ball 4. 30-40% strike not called. 1st and 2nd, nobody out for Stanton.

Excuse me, Chisholm first. FB up and in at 98, swung under, 0-1. Gets the FB in the zone down and in, perfect to pull, but he bunts down 3rd, and bunts foul, 0-2. Too bad. FB at 98 about and outside middle, topped to the right side, too slow to get 2 on Jazz, they get the 3-6 force. 1st and 3rd, 1 down for Stanton. They need to get a run here. They might not get another chance.

No, Cole is standing there, just watching. Cole is beat right there. Cole could be sprinting at that moment and Betts would have got there first. He is twice as fast. Right, because he was going the wrong way, which is the point, he never attempted to go to first base, like he should have.

First pitch Slider near the middle of the zone, Stanton just misses under, hits a high fly to fairly deep left center, caught by Kike, Soto tags and scores, and Jazz nearly BLOWS THE RUN, as he moves to 2nd and nearly gets thrown out before Soto can score, but it's a sac fly, RBI and the Yanks regain the lead, 6-5.

Wild theory: the umps know the days of their jobs are numbered. AI, cameras, and robots are coming. So they're like ... F it. Let's give the world some terrible calls here in the WS. I mean, I love that terrible call where Judge walked ... but yeah.
