Stranding runners in scoring position, they've been doing that the entire series. they have been doing that for a long time. Hard to move runners over when you can't hit. Can't hit but somehow scored 6 runs tonight and 11 last night. |

our best chance to score came on the stanton at bat. So it likely does not matter. Probably right, noetsi, but I'll keep watching and hoping. Good for you. I am less shaken because I did not expect to break the 14 year no show in the series and because I dont think we were going to win two games in LA. Also I am going to have to talk to my doctor tomorrow about the possibility of having pancreatic cancer which tends to focus the mind elsewhere.  |

Weaver looks somewhat spent... Other than the K for the last out in the 8th, they have hit him hard..

T. Hernandez takes a thigh high FB for strike 1. Cutter turns outside, he chases for strike 2, then takes his timeout. FB at the knees in the middle, hit hard through the 56 hole for a leadoff single Taylor comes in to pinch run. lol |

Throw over on Taylor.
Throw over again, and now Taylor is free to run.
Cutter outside, thigh high, ball 1.
Cutter above and inside middle, fouled back.
Third throw over, Weaver simply forgot, and that's an automatic balk, moving Taylor to 2nd for free. The inevitable RBI single will follow, I think.

I would point out their lousy batting averages but I wont. Since you already know them. I just stating the statistical reality. They can not hit for average. |
