Good for you. I am less shaken because I did not expect to break the 14 year no show in the series and because I dont think we were going to win two games in LA. Also I am going to have to talk to my doctor tomorrow about the possibility of having pancreatic cancer which tends to focus the mind elsewhere. Really puts things in perspective. I'll be praying for you noetsi. thanks hopefully it will be nothing. Just a bad lab

He did ... but Rizzo brain farted With how fast Mookie is the play was Rizzo's to make. He lolly gaged it. Yes, Cole could have tried but he was beat by the speed. Pause the video at 4 secs .... Rizzo is coming up with the ball headed towards 1st about 8 feet from the bag ... Betts is about 25 feet away and already along side of Cole Rizzo isnt even looking at 1st base ... he immediately gives up on the play and for some reason he is looking across the field ... very odd

Probably right, noetsi, but I'll keep watching and hoping. Good for you. I am less shaken because I did not expect to break the 14 year no show in the series and because I dont think we were going to win two games in LA. Also I am going to have to talk to my doctor tomorrow about the possibility of having pancreatic cancer which tends to focus the mind elsewhere. I hope the best for you, Russ. I could see why you could care less about this game or anything else.

Cutter misses outside to Edman, called a strike anyway, Yanks get a break, 0-1 Splitter gets 1-2% of the low inside corner, not called, so a makeup of sorts, 1-1 Splitter misses low and maybe in, 2-1 Pitches backwards, FB when down 2-1 hits the zone above the knees, makes him guess splitter and takes, 2-2 Takes his timeout Bounces a curve and Wells have to move quick to his right to prevent a wild pitch. Big breaking curve drops well low, he chases it for the K. 2 down. Big out there.

Walked around the house for a while after that

Last chance. Are you the future, Volpe? Got my finger on the power button. Won't watch the Dodgers celebrate.

I did not watch much this year. Are our relievers this bad? Bullpen has been a roller coaster. Started the year on fire. Had a really bad couple of months, then really came around the last 6ish weeks of the season. Been really good in October for the most part, but I think many of them are running on fumes from overuse.

Smith... Sweeper below the waist, inside corner, hit hard down 3rd, and it almost gets past Chisholm but he makes a nifty pickup almost behind him, wheels around, throws him out, inning over. Yanks escape the 9th, and are still breathing. Barely.
Walker Buehler coming in now to face the bottom of the Yankees' order: Volpe, Wells and Verdugo. The final out of the season a rollover to 2nd. Geez, I hope not.
