I’d have put Hicks #2 and Stanton #3 or 4 here. Maybe Stanton 3 and Bird 4...

what, please tell, is the story with Wade?...………..we know what Walker gives, which is not much....why not let this kid play against righty's 4 or 5 days in a row?....if not send him down and bring up Torreyes, who can hit better than either one...….

I don’t get it either, Utah. It seems to me that Boone and or Cashman are expecting him to return to his 23-home run season ways of 2014 and 2016. Maybe they think he can get hot and hit the 20 that he’s short of that mark between now and the rest of the season.
Maybe if I was the GM I’d be telling Boone that if he’s betting on that happening, the stakes are his job...
