good to see Wade get a start.....I don't remember seeing Robinson before....maybe spring training....anyway, go get'em Yanks.... I’m there today they just announced the lineup and I was like who is that ? The 33 year old Robinson is in his ninth season of MLB. He carries a light bat with no real secondary offensive skill set. He’s got a an excellent defensive reputation. As you might expect, he’s typically been a fourth or fifth OF who has been shuttled from MLB to MiLB per the needs of multiple franchises he’s played for, he went 1 for 3 in two appearances for the Yankees earlier this season.

Looks like they moved the royals pitcher who was starting this game to the other game Seems a bit odd. Maybe he didn’t sleep well last night...

Another Yankees' outfielder on the DL, and Frazier misses another chance to establish himself because of a concussion.

At bats like that are why Wade doens't get much of a chance in the big leagues. That was pathetic.

Well that doesn’t sound promising. It’s not too bad. He will still steal a base on occasion and does run well, though he’s only 7/2 stealing in MLB and his best base-Stealing days are behind him. His power is limited to about one homer per each 100 at bats...I think his slash was very close to .227/.296/.296. Right now, he fills a glaring need without exposing a prospect that is not ready to stick and starting his MLB clock. I’m sure he’ll be DFA’d as soon as we have a roster member able to push him out of the way...

It was very flukish and embarrassing for Wade because he either didn’t know the fair/foul rule or didn’t see what he did. Not running is not in line with his normal style of play, so I don’t see it as lack of hustle. It was a mental error that he should never repeat.

In person it looked like a tagged strike 3 very confusing

He’s here to serve a temporary purpose. If not for short-term injuries guys like this would never see the light of day in MLB. On the other hand, who would we utilize for such a situation? When this short window closes, he’ll be DFS and either claimed by someone else to serve the same purpose or re-sign with the Yankees for minor league tour. If he could be the hero in just a handful of games in his career, it’s almost as exciting as a pitcher getting a hit...

It's not that hard to run to first base. Then again, with the bases loaded an no outs, it might have helped if he hit the ball more than 2 feet.

On the other hand, Wade has set a record for the shortest ground ball in major league history.
