poor fsu coaching was made up for by terrible special team play by LSU. Pitching the ball on third down up a touch down in the 4h at the one yard line was about as dumb as it gets. I don't think one bad play call changes the fact that FSU is miles ahead of where they where in the past couple of years. |

I don’t really watch college football but I saw what happened to LSU. Oh man. That’s a tough one rizzuto LSU did not deserve to win that game. They were outplayed most of the game and manhandled in the trenches on both ends. Their new QB took more than half the game to realize short check downs to play makers is more effective than attempting to scramble when the first option isn’t wide open. Very poor special teams play was another huge factor. Sorry to see LSU lose. They're my favorite SEC West team except when playing the Gators. Also, I hate FSU. |

The basketball schools continue to have unusual success in football this year. Kansas, Duke, Kentucky, Syracuse, Indiana and UCLA are all 3-0. I seriously doubt that has ever happened before.
Also, any AD who schedules Appalachian State should be fired on the spot. Who wants any part of that viper's nest? Even if you beat them, they take years off your life. College Game Day was actually in Boone, NC yesterday.

Brian Kelly's old team had a great night too, Notre Dame eliminated Clemson from the playoff chase. TCU fans were big Irish fans tonight and have to be happy.

For sure congrats to your boys, Rizz. A good call to go for two in OT. Against a team like Alabama, I'd rather have it come down to one play for the win instead of cautiously trading punches and hope they make a mistake. This almost certainly eliminates the Tide from the playoffs. There will be too many teams with one or zero losses. |
