Kapp. Tarketon came after Kapp (well he was there until 66, left and then came back in the seventies). I enjoyed both very much, though Kapp was never as much fun as Tark...

Geaux Saints! Wil Lutz with a 58 yard FG to win the game! Happy for rizzuto! Also I won my week one fantasy matchup by a little over 1 point!

Monday Night Football next week is Browns vs Jets. Are you kidding me?
I hope the Yankees are playing that night.

My, oh my, oh my! Incredible game, and, of course, even a better ending! A few officious head-scratchers. A couple rookie mistakes. A couple odd play calls by the Saints in the first half. Much, much work required on run defense. Eli Apple and PJ Williams exposed on third/passing downs (nothing new). But, much to be excited about for the Saints, except for their schedule. Saints first four games:
1. Houston (11-5 AFC South Champion) 2. LA Rams (13-3 NFC West Champions/NFC Champion) on the road 3. Seattle Seahawks (10-6 NFC West Runner-Up and Playoff Team) on the road 4. Dallas Cowboys (10-6 NFC East Champion)
New England Patriots first four games:
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-6-1 AFC North Runner-up - missed playoffs) at home 2. Miami Dolphins (7-9) 3. New York Jets (4-12) 4. Buffalo Bills (6-10)
And, since the Saints played on Monday night, they have a short week and have to travel to the west coast. This seemingly happens every year (short week followed by travel to a tough opponent) for the Saints, and fans are scratching their heads.
The good news: The Saints were playing with their fourth string defensive tackle last night. Their second string DT will be available next game and their number one DT (Sheldon Rankins) should be playing in the next two or three weeks (ruptured his achilles last season).
Drew Brees! Amazing, amazing, amazing...you always have a chance with him under center. This is why Louisiana has signs that read, "What would Breesus do?" Thanks to everyone for the congratulations following the game!

New England has a ridiculously easy schedule most every year because it starts with 6 games against the Dolphins, Bills and Jets, none of which can seem to ever get better. Odd fact (that illustrates the previous sentence), since Tom Brady has been the New England QB, the Jets and Bills have never beaten the Patriots in the same season.
Very entertaining game between the Saints and Texans. As a Colts fan, I thank them for beating Houston.

I’m hoping it matters what happens to Houston...

Surprised the Pats would trade Thomas to the Jets within the division. Not sure what that says about what they think about Thomas or the Jets but it definitely makes the Jets better.

Do the Patriots have any concerns with the Jets. Kansas City might be the only team in the AFC that can challenge them.

Jets defense is clearly better. I don’t get it unless they knew they’d claim him if they released him and figured why not get a draft pick. Meanwhile the complaint against Brown is disgusting. Which doesn’t surprise me at all. Really wish they hadn’t gone dumpster diving for this clown.
