No, I only think that if a man thinks he’s been wrong he should fight for what he believes... no matter who he is. As for ghosts and hauntings, I have never experienced anything from the supernatural world, but have met many people who swear they had those experiences regularly. My belief in other dimensions leaves the door open for such, but even with an open mind, I have never experienced anyone crossing over. I have had some odd experiences, but nothing that I feel strongly was supernatural. I suppose it all to be much like religion. There is no proof, so you either believe or you don’t... INGER: Yes, you have HAD experiences from the supernatural world = Do Me's World!!!

VIDEO OF DAY:
--12-05-20: us.cnn.com/videos/politics/2020/12/04/new-york-attorney-general-letitia-james-ebof-vpx.cnn The woman who could be Trump's biggest threat speaks out GOOD NEWS: --12-05-20 GREAT NEWS: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/donald-trumps-brutal-day-in-court/ar-BB1bEelT?li=BBnb7Kz Donald Trump’s brutal day in court
President Donald Trump and his legal allies earned a platinum sombrero Friday, striking out five times in a matter of hours in states pivotal to the president’s push to overturn the election results — and losing a sixth in Minnesota for good measure.
It was another harsh milestone in a monthlong run of legal futility, accompanied by sharp rebukes from county, state and federal judges who continue to express shock at the Trump team’s effort to simply scrap the results of an election he lost.
Several of the most devastating opinions, both Friday and in recent weeks, have come from conservative judges and, in some federal cases, Trump appointees.
The losses included a rejection in Wisconsin from the state Supreme Court, where the majority was gobsmacked at the effort by a conservative group to invalidate the entire election without any compelling evidence of voter fraud or misconduct.
“The relief being sought by the petitioners is the most dramatic invocation of judicial power I have ever seen,” said Brian Hagedorn, a conservative elected justice, in a concurring opinion.
“Judicial acquiescence to such entreaties built on so flimsy a foundation would do indelible damage to every future election. Once the door is opened to judicial invalidation of presidential election results, it will be awfully hard to close that door again. This is a dangerous path we are being asked to tread.”
An Arizona county judge, similarly, tossed a suit brought by state GOP chairwoman Kelli Ward. "The court finds no misconduct, no fraud and no effect on the outcome of the election." Ward has vowed to appeal that ruling.
A Nevada judge issued a point-by-point rejection of every claim lodged by the Trump team, emphasizing that the facts they presented were sparse and unpersuasive. Carson City District Judge James Russell’s opinion repeatedly emphasized their case would not have succeeded “under any standard of proof.”

--12-05-20 IT DIDN’T HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS: us.cnn.com/2020/12/05/health/us-hospitals-covid-pandemic/index.html As hospitals start to max out, medical workers beg officials for new Covid-19 mandates
(CNN) Dr. Cleavon Gilman served in the Iraq War, but he said that doesn't compare to the battle he's fighting as an emergency room physician in Arizona.
"This pandemic is a lot worse than being in Iraq just because when you're in a war zone, you can leave that war zone. You can fly out of Iraq; you're OK here in the United States," the Yuma doctor said.
"With this pandemic, you cannot fly anywhere ... the war is being waged everywhere."
Now Gilman and other health care workers are pleading for more public safety rules -- such as mask mandates or stay-at-home orders -- to prevent hospitals from bursting past capacity.
"You can't overwhelm a hospital and expect that care is not going to be compromised as a result," Gilman said. Across the US, the numbers of daily Covid-19 hospitalizations and deaths just reached all-time highs.
And the crisis is only going to get worse.
"The reality is, December and January and February are going to be rough times," said Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

It is "strange," Farr told Lemon, that some Americans seem to deny the science touted by leading health experts in this pandemic. He says when he was growing up, he remembers medical professionals were highly respected, and doctors and nurses in his hometown were deemed some of the most important members of the community. Now, those same people who are "putting their own lives at risk" are attacked on social media. "It's unfathomable to me, it violates everything I feel like I learned growing up about decency and care for others," he said. "And those are lessons I learned from my father."
His father, he wrote, was "born into an America recovering from the Great Depression and about to face World War 2, times of loss and sacrifice difficult for most of us to imagine. Americans would be asked to ration essential supplies and send their children around the world to fight and die in wars of unfathomable destruction." "He died in a world where many of his fellow Americans refuse to wear a piece of cloth on their face to protect one another," he wrote.
In many ways, Farr told Lemon, he felt his father's death was political.
"When our local city councils, when our state legislatures, when they are refusing to enact policies that can protect people, they've made political decisions that result in people like my father dying the way that they are."

In some instances, the chief of staff, Kash Patel, who was assigned to the Pentagon after last month's election, has recast policy descriptions to include content that reflects favorably on Trump's policies before the information is shared with the Biden transition, two of the officials said.

President Trump has combined dozens of his favorite conspiracy theories about the 2020 election into one incredibly debunked Facebook video.
In a 45-minute video posted Wednesday, Trump repeated debunked lie after lie about the 2020 election, including claims that Dominion voting machines were rigged; Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday that the Department of Homeland Security had looked into claims about the machines changing ballots and found no evidence.
Trump also falsely suggested mail-in ballots were somehow rigged against him, despite it being known before the election that mail-in ballots would tend to go for President-elect Joe Biden, and that there have been no instances of widespread fraud found since.
Trump made several more false claims throughout the video, but because it was pre-recorded, there was no chance for the press to question him.
One question that might be asked is why Trump isn't heading to court with these seemingly serious claims, as the team leading his legal challenges in several states has yet to bring forward compelling evidence.

The New York Young Republicans Club hosted a large indoor gala with little-to-no mask-wearing or social distancing in Jersey City Thursday night, drawing fierce criticism from New Jersey officials Friday.
New Jersey allows indoor gatherings of up to 150 people for religious and political activities protected by the First Amendment, but requires attendees at indoor events to wear face coverings and stay six feet part, which did not occur at the gala.
The controversial event took place as the U.S. reported a record number of daily new Covid-19 cases, current hospitalizations and single-day deaths on Thursday, indicating that the national virus crisis is only accelerating.--12-04-20: us.yahoo.com/news/trump-reportedly-derailed-gop-meeting-161545374.html Trump reportedly derailed a GOP meeting about the Georgia Senate runoffs by praising QAnon
President Trump reportedly needs no encouragement to start praising the dangerous, baseless QAnon conspiracy theory.
The most pressing matter for federal Republicans right now is the upcoming Senate runoffs in Georgia, which will determine control of the body. But in a meeting with advisers and top Senate Republicans about that matter, Trump totally derailed the conversation by bringing up QAnon, people familiar with the discussion tell The Washington Post.
Trump is reportedly not thrilled with Georgia and that fact that it flipped for President-elect Joe Biden, and is publicly upset with Republican leaders in the state who haven't somehow overturned the election for him.
So even though Republican advisers say Trump's help is "key to convincing his die-hard supporters to vote for Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue" in the January runoff election, the president isn't thrilled about doing so, the Post reports.
"Advisers say he has been frustrated at how some GOP senators have criticized him," leading Trump to appear "disinterested" when discussing Senate campaign plans, the Post continues.
That was clear in a recent meeting with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Sen. Todd C. Young (R-Ind.), and other aides.
As they discussed Georgia's Senate races, Trump brought up the QAnon-supporting soon-to-be congressmember Marjorie Taylor Greene. Trump mispronounced the name of the group as "Q-an-uhn," and then said supporters of the theory that purports Democrats are a cannibalistic, pedophilic cabal "basically believe in good government," people familiar tell the Post.
Everyone reportedly went silent until White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows mentioned he had "never heard it described that way," the Post reports.
Trump has been asked to denounce QAnon several times, but usually gives the theory his tacit approval instead. The House will vote Friday on the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act, or MORE Act, which would decriminalize cannabis and clear the way to erase nonviolent federal marijuana convictions.
The MORE Act would also create pathways for ownership opportunities in the emerging industry, allow veterans to obtain medical cannabis recommendations from Veteran Affairs doctors and establish funding sources to reinvest in communities disproportionately affected by the war on drugs.
Friday's vote would mark the first time a full chamber of Congress has taken up the issue of federally decriminalizing cannabis. --12-04-20 BRAVO--BUT NOT FOR THE RICH: us.yahoo.com/news/ilhan-omar-rent-mortgage-cancel-eviction-coronavirus-pandemic-230131717.html Omar renews push to 'cancel rent and mortgage payments' during pandemic
With an eviction moratorium issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in September set to expire at the end of the month, and Congress and the White House still unable to pass a new coronavirus relief bill, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has renewed her push for legislation that would cancel mortgage and rent payments through the duration of the pandemic.
In April, Omar originally introduced legislation that would cancel all mortgage and rent payments during the pandemic, a position pushed by activists across the country. The plan includes a relief fund for landlords and mortgage holders to cover losses incurred from missed payments.

INGER Quote:
“If at 32nd you fail, then try and try again... If you asked 32 supermodels out and they all said “no”, wouldn’t you still ask the 33rd…?” DO ME Answer to above quote is:
Comparing Super Models to Actions that our hurting our country is a very BAD Example & makes No Sense (see below).
"SO INGER, even though, everything that Donald has said about his so-called Massive National Fraud claims which ALL are without ANY WHATSOEVER evidence, and that these LIES keeps Feeding The Conspiracy Frenzy with his FRINGED CULT like followers and worst yet keeps dividing our country between FACTS & LIES = YOU think he should continue fighting this LOSING Battle despite the HARM it is doing top OUR COUNTRY???!!!" INGER Quote: “Furthermore, I have personally conceded that Biden was the winner of the election. I do understand why Donald has not conceded, and am glad he is continuing his fight. There were a lot of odd occurrences that have been reported. I know. The sources like Media PJ are suspect. OAN. But those reports should be taken seriously to the degree that they need to be dis proven. If I was Donald, I’d be working these angles, too...” Do Me:
"So, you believe that all these False Fraudulent Voting Reports should be taken seriously to the degree that they need to be disproven; even if this hurts our Country? Like the ONE by his Attorney’s: That Ballots were first sent to Spain; changed, then sent back to USA? (I am laughing so hard I think I pissed my pants…)Or the one article below: Where the North Koreans brought in Ballots for Biden by Boats thru the Harbors of Maine?YES, I can see the Citizens of Maine saying, “Isn’t weird that suddenly we have so MANY North Koreans Boats in our Harbors (YES, Tequila, please laugh—for anyone that believes this crap is an IDIOT!!!)And, then you brought up QAN Group (OAN, has developed a reputation for airing baseless conspiracy theories and spreading false information, including about COVID-19 and the 2020 presidential election) = They think Democrats are a cabal of Satan-Worshiping Pedophiles and Cannibals that eat children, etc. etc. etc.Its most direct forerunner was “Pizzagate,” the groundless 2016 conspiracy theory that claimed that Hillary Clinton and other Democrats were trafficking children at a D.C. pizza shop. Some QAnon supporters have been implicated in crimes that they claimed were inspired by their beliefs in the movement. These include: --Man arrested for Shooting in regards to Pizzagate. --A man arrested in 2018 for plotting to plant a bomb in the Illinois Capitol Rotunda to make Americans aware of “Pizzagate”. --A man arrested the same year for using an armored car to block traffic on a bridge in Nevada. --A woman arrested in Colorado for plotting an armed raid to kidnap her child whose custody she had lost. --A man charged with murdering a mafia figure in New York in 2019. The man arrested in the New York case, who believed the murder victim was part of the “deep state”, displayed QAnon symbols during his court hearing. --Labeled by the FBI as a Potential Domestic Terrorist Group. --Etc. Etc. Etc.
Followers believe notable members of the Democratic party and the Hollywood elite operate pedophile rings. Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degeneres are baselessly named as being participants. (CNET didn't contact any of these celebrities for comment because the accusations are bogus.) One of the wackier strains of QAnon is the belief that John F. Kennedy Jr., the son of late President John F. Kennedy, is still alive. (Kennedy Jr. died in a 1999 plane crash.) QAnon also ropes in a host of other popular conspiracy theories, including flat Earth and anti-vax. Believers have been at the forefront of misinformation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Among their ideas: the Chinese government created the virus, Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates will use the pandemic to microchip Americans, and the pandemic is a hoax designed to sink Trump's reelection. Many QAnon supporters believe that President Kennedy was set to reveal the existence of the secret government when he was assassinated. They also believe President Reagan was shot on the deep state's orders, and that all the presidents since he left office — with the exception of President Trump — have been deep state agents. QAnon believers have also latched onto other conspiracies, such as the 9/11 "truther" movement and the Rothschild family owning the world's banks. Different QAnon followers identify with different conspiracies, though they all believe in the central conspiracy of child sex trafficking rings perpetrated by members of the Democratic party. "It seems like they've hijacked the 'Save Our Children' movement, infiltrating it and putting their spin on it," says Daryl Johnson, who previously researched right-wing terrorism for the Department of Homeland Security. "Think about children and how vulnerable they are. The issue really tugs at the hearts of anybody. But they're linking it to their conspiracy theories, which are crazy and very dangerous." According to political science professor Joe Uscinski, who studies conspiracy theories, "The beliefs themselves are almost an incitement to violence.
I mean, there isn't anything worse you can say about your political competitors than that they are satanic sex traffickers who molest and eat children."
INGER: What has happen to you???—I gave you credit for being smarter than this???!!!—Did you recently eat some Mushroom soup but NOT out of the can? “They found ballots under rocks (Donald stated recently on Fox News).”
SO, INGER: Why don’t you HELP Donald and start overturning all mid-size rocks on your Property looking for Trump Ballots…” Damn it; I cannot stop laughing!!!--12-05-20 NO, I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP – YES, TEQUILA GO AHEAD & LAUGH THE LUNATICS ARE OFFICIALLY OUT OF CONTROL: us.yahoo.com/news/roger-stone-claims-north-korea-053809333.html Roger Stone claims North Korea boated in votes for Biden ‘through a harbor in Maine’.Roger Stone, former adviser and confidante to US President Donald Trump, leaves the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia after being sentenced February 20, 2020 in Washington, DC. (Getty Images)
In a new set of unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud, Roger Stone, a longtime friend and a former adviser to President Donald Trump on Thursday said that North Korea interfered in the US presidential elections.
Appearing on far-right radio program The Alex Jones Show, Mr Stones claimed that there was “incontrovertible evidence” that the votes were brought into the US through Maine. He didn’t present any himself.
"I just learned of absolute incontrovertible evidence of North Korean boats delivering ballots through a harbour in Maine, the state of Maine," he said.
"If this checks out if law enforcement looked into that and it turned out to be true, it would be proof of foreign involvement in the election," said Mr Stone who was granted clemency by President Trump in July this year, after being found guilty of lying to Congress and intimidating witnesses during an investigation into election interference.

I’m not helping Donald. If he thinks he has evidence, it’s up to him to find it and present it to me, you, all of us. 0 for 32 is a pretty serious slump, but guys have gone through them and went on to have fine seasons and careers. It’s his right to keep swinging. I don’t think that is hurting the country at all. If it brings to light any violations, no matter how small, it will make our system better. If it brings forth no evidence of any fraud, it will prove our system to be strong.
It is only Trump’s personal reputation on the line. Take a pill and relax, Dome. The election is over. I can’t stop Trump. You can’t stop Trump. Let Trump be Trump.
Let our politics remain the muckiest of the muck as it has been since before you and I were conceived.
Any inference that I even mentioned Q-Anon and baby eating, etc. comes from your very vivid imagination, by the way... so half of your last post was a waste of time, dude! 😎

The suit against Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is one of those Powell, who is no longer associated with President Donald Trump’s legal team, filed last month and referred to as releasing the Kraken, a mythical sea monster depicted in the 1981 fantasy film “Clash of the Titans.” Calling Powell’s claims of voting irregularities “an amalgamation of theories, conjecture, and speculation,” U.S. District Judge Linda V. Parker said in a ruling on Monday that the suit didn’t put forth the kind of evidence that would justify placing the election results in doubt to allow inspections of voting machines, software and security footage of polling places. “They seek relief that is stunning in its scope and breathtaking in its reach,” Parker wrote. “If granted, the relief would disenfranchise the votes of the more than 5.5 million Michigan citizens who, with dignity, hope, and a promise of a voice, participated in the 2020 General Election.” The judge added that Powell’s suit, which alleges foreign agents from Iran and China infiltrated voting machines and switched votes from Trump to President-elect Joe Biden with help from “communist money” and hundreds of corrupt Democratic election workers, seemed less about seeking relief in court than undermining “people’s faith in the democratic process and their trust in our government.” VIDEO OF DAY:

Instead of the delivery of 300 million or so doses of vaccine immediately after emergency-use approval and before the end of 2020 as the Trump administration had originally promised, current plans call for availability of around a tenth of that, or 35 to 40 million doses.--12-06-20 AWFUL: www.cnbc.com/2020/12/05/why-home-evictions-are-still-happening-despite-cdc-ban.html The CDC banned evictions. CONCERNING ARTICLES: --12-06-20 WHY? WHY? WHY? : us.yahoo.com/news/welcome-covid-19-culture-wars-120024871.html Welcome to the COVID-19 culture wars. Why are we still fighting about masks? You have to wonder what was on the minds of the scores of people who packed into the outdoor enclosure of an Italian restaurant in the hills of northern New Jersey on the night before Thanksgiving.
It was a joyous time, fueled by alcohol, for the crowd of people in their 20s and 30s. It was also reckless.
Few at the Portobello Restaurant in Oakland that night wore masks to protect them from spreading the coronavirus. Few seemed to care.
That scene at Portobello, documented on social media, has been repeated in countless communities across the country. It was even repeated at Portobello a few days after Thanksgiving, according to local officials.
Call it an example of COVID-19 denialism. Call it another chapter in the coronavirus culture wars. Call it, as Gov. Phil Murphy did this week, another example of knuckleheaded behavior. Or just call it rampant idiocy.
But as the dark clouds of the COVID-19 pandemic grow more ominous with more than 14 million cases across the nation and the numbers of U.S. dead rising astronomically to nearly 275,000 now, how is it possible that so many people don’t seem to care enough to wear a basic surgical mask to protect themselves and others?
And how is it possible that so many corners of America — from restaurants to stores to high school, college and professional sports teams — continue to play a weird version of Russian roulette and seem to dare the virus to infect them?--12-06-20: us.yahoo.com/news/trump-tactics-overturn-election-could-144828585.html Trump tactics to overturn election could have staying power
ATLANTA (AP) — Even after he exits the White House, President Donald Trump's efforts to challenge the legitimacy of the election and seeking to overturn the will of voters could have staying power.
Trump's tactics are already inspiring other candidates and have been embraced by a wide array of Republicans. Supporters include congressional candidates, state lawmakers, party chairs, conservative legal groups and appointees to previously little-known state vote-certification boards. The breadth of support for Trump's effort could be a troubling sign for future elections.
“What this president is doing is poisoning democracy,” former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm said. “And, yes, he is setting a precedent, suggesting that it is OK to violate these norms that have made our country great.”
Granholm, a Democrat, joined with former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman, a Republican, to raise concerns about Trump’s refusal to concede and efforts to undermine the integrity of elections.
“This is not who we are as Americans, and we don’t want the public coming away from this thinking this is the norm,” said Whitman, who served in President George W. Bush's administration.
Trump and his allies have pushed conspiracies involving voting machines manipulated by dead foreign leaders and tens of thousands of fraudulent mail ballots that somehow escaped layers of security and scrutiny by election workers across the country.
They have filed lawsuits without evidence, tried to pressure state lawmakers into seating their own presidential electors and sought to influence low-level party members who sit on the state and local boards that certify election results.
This is despite the fact that the federal government's own cybersecurity arm declared the presidential election “the most secure in American history," and Attorney General William Barr said the Department of Justice uncovered no evidence that would change the outcome.--12-06-20: us.yahoo.com/news/3-retired-generals-embraced-bizarre-223607842.html Here are 4 former military officers who have embraced bizarre Trump conspiracies.--12-06-20: us.yahoo.com/finance/news/capitalism-will-collapse-on-itself-without-empathy-love-scott-galloway-120642769.html Capitalism 'will collapse on itself' without more empathy and love: The coronavirus pandemic accelerated drastic economic changes that were already underway. And one expert warns that it’s threatening the future of the free market system. “We are barreling towards a nation with three million lords being served by 350 million serfs,” NYU Stern School of Business professor Scott Galloway told Yahoo Finance Live. Galloway, the outspoken New York Times best selling author, addresses these themes in his latest book, Post Corona: From Crisis to Opportunity. Specifically, he explores who the winners and losers will be following the COVID-19 pandemic and suggests ways people can prevent a future that threatens to leave millions behind economically. “We don't like to say this out loud, but I feel as if this pandemic has largely been invented for taking the top 10% into the top 1%, and taking the rest of the 90% downward,” Galloway said. Wealth by the numbers A recent UBS PwC study of the world’s 2000 billionaires found “Total billionaire wealth reached $10.2 trillion at the end of July 2020, touching a new high after the year’s V-shaped rebound in asset prices.” It broke the previous record, $8.9 trillion, set at the end of 2019 despite the pandemic’s negative impact on the global economy. In the United States, a report from the Federal Reserve shows the top 1%, which includes millionaires and billionaires have a combined net worth of $34.9 trillion while the bottom 50% has a combined net worth of $7 trillion. President Trump’s finances, and that of The Trump Organization, are the focus of multiple investigations in the state of New York. Res believes Trump may leave the country before he leaves office to escape the legal jeopardy he could face as a citizen. “I think catastrophe comes except for Donald. You know, as much as it’s almost impossible to think how he’s gonna weasel his way out of it, I think he will,” Res said. “If there are real legitimate charges leveled against him or hanging over his head the minute he becomes a citizen, I think he may leave the country. I think he may leave the country before the end of his presidency.” The president’s niece, Mary Trump, was on with Res agreed that Trump leaving the country is a real possibility, though she doesn’t believe it’s likely. “If the walls really do start closing in on him, right before the inauguration will be his last, best opportunity to get away unscathed. So it’s gonna be fascinating, but also pretty terrifying.”

AID/LOANS and NEVER BE TAX EXEMPT:www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/accused-hate-groups-receive-pandemic-aid-n1250474 Accused hate groups receive pandemic aid--14 groups identified as hate groups benefited from the PPP program.
Fourteen organizations designated as hate groups by the Southern Poverty Law Center or the Anti-Defamation League have received funding from the Paycheck Protection Program totaling $4.3 million, according to data released last week by the Small Business Administration, revealing who benefited from the pandemic federal relief funds.
Those organizations include the New Century Foundation, known for publishing the white supremacist website and now-discontinued magazine American Renaissance. That group is run by prominent white supremacist Jared Taylor, who for decades has argued that immigration policy should aim to “keep the country white.” The New Century Foundation received $51,600 in relief funds.
The analysis by NBC News, one of 11 newsrooms that sued for the release of data, was based on hate groups designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center or the Anti-Defamation League, that received PPP money and primarily focus on advocating against immigrants and opposing the advancement of homosexual and transgender rights.
NBC News crosschecked the PPP data against 73 different designated hate groups whose work and advocacy focuses on attacking, maligning and delegitimizing entire classes of people based on their ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or if they have a disability.
The same list of hate groups was used in an assessment earlier this year for research conducted by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, an anti-extremism think tank, and the Global Disinformation Index, a nonprofit research group, that analyzed how hate groups fundraise and collect payments online, which was exclusively reported by NBC News.
All the groups assessed were also active as of 2020 and are actively promoting hateful ideologies, whether through literature, online content or grassroots organizing. In total, the 14 accused hate groups that received relief funds analyzed by NBC News were awarded a total of $4.3 million in PPP loans.
Overall more than 5.2 million PPP loans worth more than $525 billion were approved, according to the SBA.
The groups that received funds also include American Family Association, a group that opposes what its leaders describe as the "homosexual agenda." It received $1,390,800 in PPP funds.
The Federation for American Immigration Reform, known as FAIR, an anti-immigration group founded by leaders that hold ties to white supremacists, also was awarded $683,680 from the relief program.
Among the anti-LGBT groups that received relief funds is Church Militant, an organization that runs a media operation that advocates for so-calledgay conversion therapies and links homosexuality to pedophilia, reaching large followings across Facebook, YouTube and on its own website. The group received a $301,100 PPP loan, according to SBA data.--12-09-20 DISGUSTING & MUST STOP: edition.cnn.com/2020/12/08/opinions/michigan-armed-people-screaming-falsehoods-obscenities-benson/index.html In a sad reflection of the divisive moment in which our country now finds itself, armed people descended on my home last Saturday, screaming falsehoods and obscenities into a bullhorn while my family was finishing hanging Christmas decorations and my four year old was settling in to watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
In the dark of night, these agitators, unhappy with the results of an election that did not go their partisan way and buoyed with falsehoods and unproven allegations of fraud, spent 40 minutes chanting about disproven conspiracy theories and stolen elections.
As an attorney and former law school dean, I am a vociferous advocate for the right and importance of peaceful protest as enshrined in the United States Constitution. But a line is crossed when the gatherings occur at private residences with the express goal to intimidate public officials who are carrying out their oath of office.
But let's be clear. This incident, terrifying and unnerving as it was for my family and our neighbors -- several of whom have young kids of their own -- was not an isolated one.
It is instead just the latest in a string of attacks that are a direct outgrowth of the hateful rhetoric and threats of violence we've seen invade our public discourse here in Michigan, and throughout our country, for several months.
Indeed, in the month since the polls closed on November 3, we've seen hardworking public officials and election administrators on both sides of the aisle subjected to incessant and baseless threats designed to stop us from doing our jobs.
Rep. Cynthia Johnson, an African American state legislator from Detroit, received racist voicemails threatening her life after challenging election fraud claims.
My fellow Secretaries of States Brad Raffensberger in Georgia, Katie Hobbs in Arizona and Barbara Cegavske in Nevada have all received death threats. And Chris Krebs, former director of the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, on Tuesday filed a lawsuit after a lawyer for the Trump campaign said Krebs should be "taken out at dawn and shot." (Trump's lawyer has said he was just joking, but that's no laughing matter in today's political environment.)
For all of us, our job is simple: to defend and protect every voter, their choice and their vote. And each of us will continue to proudly, defiantly, guard every citizen's vote, undeterred, because no matter how one voted or who they voted for, where they live, or what they look like, their vote is the lifeblood of our democracy.
And the misguided efforts to spread lies designed to undermine people's faith in what was a well-run, secure, fair and accurate election, need to stop.
It's gone on too long, and it's gone too far.

Four of the 10 most populous counties in Georgia are reducing the number of locations where people can vote early in the state’s Senate runoff races, prompting outcry from civil rights and voting rights organizations.
In Cobb County, the state’s third most populous county with more than 760,000 residents, election officials have announced five early voting locations, fewer than half of the 11 used for early voting ahead of last month's general election.
Advocates warned that the reduction of early voting sites will particularly harm Black and Latino voters in the state by making it harder to access the polls.
“We are especially concerned that these closures will be harmful to Cobb County’s Black and Latinx voters because many of the locations are in Black and Latinx communities,” a group of advocates, including Georgia branches of the NAACP and the American Civil Liberties Union, wrote in a letter Monday to local officials, calling on them to maintain 11 early voting sites for the runoff.

GOP Rep. Alex Mooney (W.Va.) introduced a resolution Tuesday backing President Trump's efforts to contest the results of the presidential race and condemning lawmakers who press Trump to concede.
The resolution marks the latest instance of an ally of the president throwing their support behind his longshot legal battles to overturn his loss to President-elect Joe Biden. The legal campaign has been based on evidence-challenged claims of widespread election fraud and nearly every lawsuit seeking to subvert the results has been thrown out of court. States have already begun certifying their results, but the vast majority of GOP lawmakers have refused to acknowledge Biden's victory. Mooney is a member of the House Freedom Caucus, a group of hardline lawmakers who have tied themselves closely to the White House during the Trump administration. Giuliani was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center, where he is “recovering quickly and keeping up with everything,” he tweeted late Sunday. The 76-year-old has spent the past several weeks crisscrossing the country to promote the president’s baseless claims that the election was stolen by the Democrats. In public appearances, Giuliani and other members of the Trump legal team have ignored social distancing guidelines and other public health recommendations to stop the spread of the coronavirus. In the past week alone, Giuliani appeared at election-related hearings in Arizona, Michigan and Georgia, speaking in close proximity to others without wearing a mask. After Giuliani’s COVID-19 diagnosis was made public, Arizona announced that its state House and Senate would close for a week “out of an abundance of caution.” Giuliani spent more than 10 hours at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix last Monday discussing election concerns and posing for a group photo with Arizona Republicans, including two members of Congress and at least 10 current and future state lawmakers. In Georgia, members of a state Senate subcommittee who attended Thursday’s hearing with Giuliani were advised to quarantine. “Little did I know that the most credible death threat that I encountered last week was Trump’s own lawyer,” Jen Jordan, a Georgia Democratic state senator who met with Giuliani, tweeted Sunday afternoon. “To say I am livid would be too kind. A pardon onslaught focused so heavily on personal allies would be highly unusual, if not unprecedented, in presidential history. But Trump, as is his wont, may want to take things even further than expected. Axios’s Jonathan Swan reported on Monday night that the president is looking for someone, anyone to pardon in his vicinity (with the caveat that he might not be serious about this mission): Trump recently told one adviser he was going to pardon “every person who ever talked to me,” suggesting an even larger pardon blitz to come. As with most Trump conversations, the adviser wasn’t sure how seriously to take the president — although Trump gave no indication he was joking. Swan also reports that, according to sources, “Trump has also interrupted conversations to spontaneously suggest that he add the person he’s speaking with to his pardon list,” and that “One source felt awkward because the president was clearly trying to be helpful but the adviser didn’t believe they had committed any crimes.” Maybe Trump just wants to thumb his nose at an incoming Biden administration he expects to harass some of his associates. Or maybe he watched Spartacus recently, and wants to make it difficult to distinguish the criminal from the innocent. Either way, the guy seems receptive to helping out almost anyone who crosses his path. So, if you’ve been contemplating asking the president for a pardon but were too afraid to ask, now is probably your moment. (Twitter might be your best bet.) On his first day leading the country's largest district attorney's office, the top prosecutor in Los Angeles County announced a series of sweeping criminal justice reforms aimed at "permanently" changing the course of California's criminal justice system. George Gascón, who was elected last month as a reformer, unseating the county's first Black district attorney, said Monday in a long thread on Twitter that the office will no longer seek the death penalty, which he described as "racist and morally untenable." Of the 215 people on death row in Los Angeles County, 85 percent are people of color, he said. Nor will prosecutors ask for cash bail in misdemeanor, nonserious or nonviolent felony cases — a system that he called a "terrible proxy for risk." Prosecutors won't file sentencing enhancements — like California's "3 Strikes" law — that can send people to prison for far longer terms. Gascón said that from 1990 to 1999 — five years after the law was passed — California's prison population grew from 94,000 to 160,000. Under his announced reforms, children will no longer be sent to adult court; low-level crimes associated with poverty, addiction, mental illness and homelessness will be diverted to health services; and his office will review cases in which lengthy prison terms were "inconsistent" with sentencing and charging policies. The review could apply to at least 20,000 people behind bars, Gascón said. Cases in which people committed nonviolent crimes or are older and unlikely to commit more crimes will be given priority, he said. --12-08-20 BRAVO: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/christopher-krebs-sues-trump-campaign-lawyer-joe-digenova-for-defamation/ar-BB1bJKC9?li=BBnb7Kz Election security official fired by Trump sues over threatsWASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. election and cybersecurity official who was fired last month by President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit Tuesday over threatening remarks by a lawyer for the president that prompted a wave of death threats against him. Christopher Krebs says in the suit that he has been “bombarded” with threats since attorney Joseph diGenova appeared on the pro-Trump TV network Newsmax and called for Krebs to be killed. “The defendants’ threats have upended plaintiff’s life, as well as his family’s security, and caused serious fear, distress, suffering, and even physical damage,” he said in the lawsuit, filed in diGenova's home state of Maryland. Amid the threats, Krebs, a Republican and Trump appointee, was forced to move out of his home in Virginia for several days and hire private security. He still keeps his children from playing in their front yard out of fear, attorney Jim Walden said. “It has fundamentally uprooted their lives,” Walden said. “He and his family feel terribly threatened.” Krebs was director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency until he was fired in a Nov. 17 tweet by Trump after he and other officials who oversaw the election determined it was free of major fraud or interference, contradicting the president's unsubstantiated assertions to the contrary. President Donald Trump said it was "terrific" that so many Americans had caught coronavirus infections, a comment that appeared to back the concept of herd immunity.
"You develop immunity over a period of time. And I hear we're close to 15%, I'm hearing that, and that's terrific, that's a very powerful vaccine in itself," he told reporters on Tuesday.
Herd immunity has been largely discredited as a strategy for tackling the virus because to achieve it in a country as large as the United States would risk millions of deaths.

The network plans to hire more staff in the United States and London, debut a new primetime host and add more weekend programming to capitalize on post-election gains and some viewers' discontent with Rupert Murdoch's longtime ratings king Fox News. Aided by shout-outs from Trump on Twitter, Newsmax's weekly primetime viewership has jumped 68% since the U.S. presidential election as the channel refused to declare Joe Biden the winner and aired debunked theories about voter fraud. Early evening host Greg Kelly on Monday averaged 229,000 viewers ages 25 to 54, the group most coveted by cable news advertisers, for the first-time beating Fox's Martha MacCallum, who brought in 203,000 viewers in that age range at that hour. Conservative attorney George Conway in a new op-ed ripped into President Donald Trump and his Republican allies over their efforts to invalidate millions of votes and overturn the election.
"History will record that the scam didn't succeed," Conway wrote, describing the latest suit out of Texas as an "embarrassment to the legal profession."
Trump and his GOP allies have won zero out of the at least 38 election-related lawsuits they've filed.
The president has repeatedly pushed the baseless assertion that President-elect Joe Biden won due to mass voter fraud.
George Conway in a new Washington Post op-ed excoriated efforts by President Donald Trump and his Republican allies to overturn the 2020 election.
Conway, a conservative lawyer and husband to White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, described the overwhelmingly failed legal battle to challenge the election results as "the biggest farce of all."
"The big fraud of 2020 didn't take place in any voting booth, drop box or tabulation center.
It happened after the election, at the presidential lectern, at news conferences and in legal briefs orchestrated to support the fiction that Donald Trump won," Conway wrote, adding, "History will record that the scam didn't succeed."

DONALD IS INCITING SUCH BY LYING ABOUT THE ELECTION. The Washington Post editorial board published a column Wednesday warning that President Donald Trump’s lies about the election may lead to violence if Republicans continue to inflame tensions with their complicity.
Threats of violence are already surfacing. The editorial noted that officials in seven states have reported receiving threats or harassment in the wake of the Nov. 3 election. The Arizona Republican Party asked its Twitter followers Tuesday if they were willing to give their lives in the cause of overturning Trump’s loss.
Last week, Gabriel Sterling, a top Republican election official in Georgia, begged for Trump to stop, saying, “Someone’s going to get shot, someone’s going to get killed. It’s not right.”
Republican leaders may believe staying silent about the election will allow passions to dissipate with time. But passions aren’t dissipating, “they are exploding,” the board wrote.
The majority of Republicans in Congress have not publicly acknowledged the reality of Trump’s election loss by 74 Electoral College votes and more than 7 million popular votes nationally.
“Republicans across the country, from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) down to county GOP chairs, are inflaming them with their encouragement or their acquiescence,” the editorial continued.
“Violence seems ever more possible when President-elect Joe Biden’s victory becomes official — if not before.”

Just shy of 11 p.m., local time on Monday, the Arizona Republican Party fired up its official Twitter account and asked followers if they’d be willing to die for the glorious cause of President Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
Around midnight, the account tweeted a follow-up: a clip from the movie Rambo, with the caption “this is what we do, who we are. Live for nothing, or die for something.”
The AZ GOP Twitter account later deleted the Rambo clip. But it couldn't delete the growing death-fetish that has stalked pro-Trump media in recent weeks, as the president’s followers issue increasingly militant calls to overturn his election loss.
The Arizona Republican Party’s social media team almost certainly does not plan to die while defending Trump’s honor in a hail of bullets.
Amid growing Republican insistence that this election is the new “1776” or “civil war,” however, those calls for martyrdom could inspire readers to take extreme action.

The editorial board warned that is is unclear if the GOP base is "lashing out on its own" or if statements from the president and his supporters like Sens. Josh Hawley (R-Miss.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas) are inciting Trump supporters "to take vigilante action." "What is certain is that the rhetoric is out of control. These are, of course, representatives of the party that claims to support a 'pro-life' agenda - even while their words are moving ever closer to driving families from their homes and getting someone killed," the board wrote. "No, really, this has to stop." The editorial came after a local Missouri elected official accused a Georgia state senator of treason in what the newspaper board called a "thinly veiled death threat."

Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera appeared Thursday on The Story With Martha MacCallum where he slammed conservative radio giant Rush Limbaugh. On his radio show on Wednesday, Limbaugh said that the country is trending toward secession.
“I actually think that we’re trending toward secession,” Limbaugh said. “I see more and more people asking, ‘What in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York?’”
He added, “There cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories of how we manage our affairs. We can’t be in this dire a conflict without something giving somewhere along the way.
So I know that there is a sizable and growing sentiment for people who believe that that is where we’re headed whether we want to go there or not.”
And Rivera did not mince words when he addressed those remarks.
“I think talk of secession is treason,” Rivera said. “I want to be very clear, Rush Limbaugh is a powerhouse broadcaster, he’s one in a zillion. They come along once in a generation, but that talk is reckless, it’s irresponsible.”--12-10-20 IT NEVER STOPS: us.yahoo.com/news/coroner-rules-casey-goodson-jr-185626559.html

A 69-year-old Fort Worth, Texas, woman is accusing police officers of excessive force and unlawfully searching her and her husband's home during a narcotics raid. Nelda Price said she and her now-late husband, John Price, had just finished eating dinner in their kitchen when at around 8 p.m. on March 11 officers "smashed in the doors to the residence and stormed into the house with guns drawn," according to a lawsuit obtained by NBC News. The suit, filed in a Tarrant County court against the city of Fort Worth, alleges that officers gave no verbal warning and did not knock before forcing their way into the home. “They were hollering ‘put your hands up, put your hands up.' And then they took us outside," Nelda Price said in a phone interview Thursday. "I didn't know what was happening." Calls and emails to the Fort Worth Police Department and city spokesperson were not returned. The Prices, who are Black, had guns pointed at them, had their hands zip-cuffed behind their backs and were taken outside to their front yard. "The Fort Worth Police had no reason to suspect that the Prices, who were relaxing in their home on a weekday evening, were involved in or engaged in any criminal activity, or posed any threat to the safety of the Fort Worth Police Officers or any other individual," the lawsuit states. Some of the officers "guarded" the couple outside while others ransacked the home, according to the lawsuit. When Nelda Price asked police why the home was being raided, the couple was instead questioned about having aliases and if "a Mexican boy brought a package to their home," the suit says. The couple denied the allegations. Nelda Price, wearing a nightgown, and John Price, in his pajamas, were left cuffed outside for several hours. "They just kept asking us the same questions over and over. I was getting cold and I asked them if they would let me get a jacket. They wouldn't do it at first," she said. At one point, John Price — who took blood pressure medication — started to feel ill. "I asked them could they give John his medicine and they wouldn't give it to him," she said. Eventually, an officer checked John Price's blood pressure and called for emergency medical help. The 69-year-old was treated at the scene. Nelda Price said officers never answered her questions about why the home was being raided. A search warrant that had been left on the couple's table showed that officers were looking for methamphetamines and anything pertaining to narcotics trafficking organizations. A copy of the warrant, which was provided to NBC News by the legal team representing Nelda Price, showed that no items were seized during the search. It also states that there was "sufficient reason to believe that to knock and announce their purpose by the officers executing this warrant would be futile, dangerous, and otherwise inhibit the effective investigation of the offense or offenses related to the purpose of this warrant." Nelda Price and her lawyer, Kay Van Wey, said officers caused substantial damage to the home, and attempts to work something out with the city and police department have been futile. Van Wey questioned whether this would have happened if her client lived in a predominately white neighborhood. "We’re trying to give the city of Fort Worth a chance to do the right thing and so far, they’ve been completely unwilling to do so," she said. "The bottom line is this, the police must do better. This is not okay. I do not personally believe that this would have happened if she had been living in a predominately white middle-class neighborhood.” The lawsuit says that police unlawfully detained the Prices and also accuses the department of having a "history of racial profiling and biased based on policing," noting several police brutality cases involving Fort Worth officers including the 2019 death of Atatiana Jefferson, a Black woman shot and killed in her home. John Price died from heart failure in May, about five weeks after the incident. Nelda Price believes that his death was triggered by the trauma from what they endured. She said Thursday that coping with what happened in March and the loss of her husband has been difficult. “Every sound I hear outside, especially since John is gone, is nerve-racking. It’s really been stressful because I can’t imagine why it happened," she said. "It still feels like I am in a nightmare. And with John being gone, it’s been really rough. --12-10-20: us.yahoo.com/lifestyle/white-north-carolina-man-accused-220000851.html White North Carolina Man Accused of Using N-Word, Punching Woman and Minor Over BLM and Breonna Taylor Signs
One would think that after several years of the rallying cry’s existence, racist white people would at least be desensitized enough that the mere words, “Black lives matter” wouldn’t send them into a violent rage on anyone who dares display signs showing support for the movement. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and the recent arrest of a white man accused of attacking two people in Lewisville, N.C., over the BLM signs displayed in their car window makes that evident. The Winston-Salem Journal reports that 55-year-old Rod Steven Sturdy is facing two misdemeanor charges of simple assault and assault on a woman following an incident on Dec. 3 where he is accused of repeatedly punching a minor and then punching a woman who came to defend him—all because a BLM sign and a sign that read, “Prosecute the cops who murdered Breonna Taylor” were displayed in the rear window of the car they were riding in. --12-10-20 STUPID BE STUPID: us.yahoo.com/huffpost/guillermo-maldonado-covid-19-vaccine-evangelicals-212356710.html Florida Megachurch Pastor Tells Evangelical Congregants Not To Take COVID-19 Vaccine.
