Roaming bands of white supremacists trawled the streets of Washington D.C. on Saturday, setting fires to Black Lives Matter banners and getting into stabbing fights in what appeared to be a free-for all outpouring of racist rage.
Earlier in the day, MAGA supporters gathered in the nation’s capital for a rally to protest the election results, where the Washington Post reports they heard from Alex Jones and Michael Flynn (who was recently pardoned by Trump for lying to the FBI).
Videos posted on social media show a band of diminutive, pinch-faced, red-hatted white men chanting that they will “destroy the GOP” because the party has not ensured Trump stays in office—though he has absolutely no valid claim to do so because he undeniably lost the election.
By that evening, members of the white nationalist Proud Boys group began spreading out across the D.C., pulling Black Lives Matter signs off of churches and destroying them—including setting the signs afire: SCARY & CRAZY ARTICLES:--12-12-20: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/they-were-in-on-it-mypillow-guy-accuses-fox-news-of-rigging-election-against-trump-in-bonkers-rally-speech/ar-BB1bSCAn?li=BBnbfcL ‘THEY WERE IN ON IT!’ MyPillow Guy Accuses Fox News of Rigging Election Against Trump in Bonkers Rally Speech
CEO of MyPillow Mike Lindell spoke to the crowd at a pro-Trump march in D.C. on Saturday, and singled out Fox News Channel as being “in on” a major conspiracy to overthrow the Donald Trump because of their having called Arizona for Joe Biden.
“We cannot give up ever on this,” said Lindell to the crowd, which in no way was giving up, being as they were in D.C. marching under the banner of “Stop the Steal” and in protest of the election results and, more recently the Supreme Court. “This is a spiritual warfare in our country and in the world.”
“This fraud is real,” he said. “It’s of epic proportions that this election was stolen.”
After several more statements along the same lines, including his frequent line about having “broken” some mysterious “algorithms,” he pointed the finger at Fox News.
“They were going for everything. They were going to take everything we had,” he said. “Why do you think Fox declared Arizona with only 14% of the vote in? They already knew what they did! They were in on it!”
As the crowd cheered he continued. “I’m serious, they had to be on it!”
He also said “they should all go to prison when they are found out.”
At the conclusion of his remarks, he delivered another line that is going viral on social media. Lindell was saying that the fraud will be proven, and that Trump will somehow still be elected.
Then Lindell suggested we might already be in the Biblical “end times” just as the crowd was chanting “four more years” of Trump.--12-13-20: us.cnn.com/videos/us/2020/12/12/colorado-family-devastated-kafanov-coronavirus-pkg-ctn-vpx.cnn GOP Congressman-Elect Praises Maskless Trump Supporters: 'This Is A Phony Pandemic'

“I can’t tell you how great it is to look out there and see your faces,” said Good, who won Virginia’s 5th Congressional District seat last month. “This looks like a group of people that gets it. This is a phony pandemic.”

State prosecutors have interviewed employees of Deutsche Bank and insurance brokerage Aon. The Times reported that there's no indication prosecutors suspect either company of wrongdoing.
Two Deutsche Bank employees were asked by prosecutors about how the bank makes lending decisions. The employees were experts in the bank's underwriting process rather than people who worked with the Trump Organization.
Bank officials expect prosecutors to ask them more specific questions in the near future, the Times reported, citing a person familiar with the interviews.
The interviews mark an escalation of prosecutors' investigation of Trump and his business, dating back to 2018. Prosecutors have recently issued subpoenas and questioned witnesses, including some who have been questioned before a grand jury, the Times reported.
The newspaper reported earlier this month that Trump has discussed with advisers whether to issue preemptive pardons to his children. The president has also claimed he can pardon himself, though it's unclear whether that would stand up to legal scrutiny in the courts.
Trump's pardon power, however, only applies to federal crimes, not state crimes.
The Manhattan district attorney's office, led by Cyrus Vance Jr. (D), and Trump's lawyers have been fighting in court over prosecutors' subpoena to Trump's accounting firm, Mazars USA, for the president's personal and business tax returns. A federal appeals court ruled in October that Trump cannot block enforcement of the subpoena. Trump's lawyers then filed a motion to stay with the Supreme Court that has yet to be decided.
The district attorney's office has indicated in court filings that it is investigating potentially extensive criminal conduct at the Trump Organization. Prosecutors have suggested that Trump and his businesses could be investigated for tax and insurance fraud.AND –12-12-20 BRAVO: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/republican-congressman-rips-texas-gop-for-suggesting-secession-and-says-my-guy-abraham-lincoln-and-the-union-soldiers-already-told-you-no/ar-BB1bRHlk?li=BBnb7Kz Republican congressman rips Texas GOP for suggesting secession and says 'my guy Abraham Lincoln and the Union soldiers already told you no'.

President Trump lost key swing states by clear margins. His barrage of lawsuits claiming widespread voting fraud has been almost universally dismissed, most recently by the Supreme Court. And on Monday, the Electoral College will formally cast a majority of its votes for President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.
But as the president continues to refuse to concede, a small group of his most loyal backers in Congress are plotting a final-stage challenge on the floor of the House of Representatives in early January to try to reverse Mr. Biden’s victory.
Constitutional scholars and even members of the president’s own party say the effort is all but certain to fail. PHOENIX — Dr. Cleavon Gilman, a well-known emergency-medicine physician, has been asked not to return to work at a hospital in Yuma, Arizona for his social media posts about the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state, according to him and his staffing agency.
"What I don't understand about this is I have been advocating for Arizona; I have been calling for a mask mandate, the closure of schools and indoor dining," Gilman told The Arizona Republic, part of the USA TODAY Network. "I did all of this because we are seeing an unprecedented number of cases. This is my third surge — I know how this ends."
The hospital, Yuma Regional Medical Center, said in a statement late Thursday night that "there has been a misunderstanding" and Gilman is scheduled to work this weekend.
"News to me," Gilman tweeted.
In June, Gilman moved his fiancé and two kids from New York to work in Yuma, near the U.S.-Mexico border, and "serve the small community during the pandemic." Instead, he said, officers asked him to exit his vehicle. Within minutes, Martin said, he was frisked and handcuffed. He filed a complaint alleging officers detained him only because he was Black. But he already knew how the investigation would end. “I still have to file the complaint, even though I know that it’s highly likely to be futile, at least as far as whether or not the department is going to hold itself accountable,” he said. “We know that they won’t.” Martin’s assumption is almost always right. I hope this to be a small percentage of white folks. I think there ARE some who would rather have a white doctor or nurse for reasons of stupidity and ignorance. I think only a few of those would be so extreme that they would risk their lives to avoid other ethnicities touching, feeding, or medicating them.
I remember hearing someone I know speaking of her husband’s nurse and saying, “She was black, but she was nice”. I’m always alert to those phrases, which to me quickly reveal that person as at the very least. a closet racist, more likely out in the open racist around family and close friends.
The encouraging thing for the future is that I find most youthful people detest racism and will speak up, even to their parents in objection to racist language. A change IS gonna come...

Scathing reporting from Matt Taibbi regarding the new relief bill. Now, it’s the Democratic Party’s turn to remind us that real people in need just do not matter, while rewarding political cronies:
"Amazing" Hypocrisy: Democrats Make Wreck of Covid-19 Relief Negotiations
Democrats stonewalled all year on a new pandemic relief package. Now they're proposing a new plan that undercuts even Republican proposals, and screws everyone but - get this - defense contractors Matt Taibbi Dec 15
A senior Democratic congressional aide is irate tonight.
“The Democrats,” the aide seethed, “have just done the worst negotiating in modern history.”
At issue: a pair of new Covid-19 relief bills, just submitted by a bipartisan group of Senators. Republican Senator Susan Collins gushed that a“Christmas Miracle” allowed the two parties came together on the twin bills, which the press describes as totaling $748 billion and $160 billion, respectively. “Bipartisanship and compromise is [sic] alive and well in Washington,” clucked West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin.
It sure is. With the election over, the Democratic leadership in the space of a few weeks somehow negotiated against themselves, working with Republicans to push the total amount of a Covid-19 relief deal further and further downward, to the point where previous plans offered by the likes of Mitch McConnell and Steve Mnuchin now look like LBJ’s Great Society.
Democrats ultimately settled for less than a third of what they had set as a baseline for state and local aid, accepted a package without any $1,200 direct payments, and signed off on a plan that, after offsets, includes less than $350 billion in new money, well below a slew of pre-election proposals rejected by Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer as being too low.
“They totally caved,” the aide says.
Back in May, the Democrat-led House passed the HEROES Act, a $3.4 trillion relief package that was pitched as the bill Democrats really wanted. It contained $413 billion new dollars for $1,200 direct payments to citizens, as well as $437 billion in additional unemployment benefits, and a whopping $1.13 trillion for state and local governments.
Trump said the bill was “dead on arrival,” McConnell blasted it as a “$3 trillion left-wing wish list,” and the anti-spending group Taxpayers for Common Sense seethed that Democrats unrealistically put “everything they could think of” in the bill. Still, Democrats insisted this was the right amount, at the right time, a moral necessity.
“The House has passed a major bill dealing with COVID,” Schumer said in May, blasting his Senate Republican colleagues for a “pause” in negotiations. “We have done nothing.”
Republicans, via McConnell, countered in July with the unfortunately named HEALS Act, reported as a roughly $1 trillion aid deal. The bill included another round of $1,200 relief checks. Pelosi in August ripped the plan as “meager measures,” and said Republicans were refusing to take action to feed hungry children:
Nancy Pelosi @speakerpelosi Republicans refused to take action to feed hungry children nationwide during this pandemic – but they did make sure to give business a massive tax break for corporate lunches. #TheReidOut August 11th 2020
4,393 Retweets12,139 Likes When Republicans ended up backing a so-called “Skinny” $650 billion deal, it was reported as a signal that the GOP opposition was determined not to budge above what the Trump administration was willing to offer, at the time rumored to be somewhere between $1-$1.5 trillion.
In September, as time wound down toward Election Day, the bipartisan “Problem Solvers” group released a $1.5 trillion aid plan which they pitched as a version of that theoretical compromise between Democratic and Republican positions. Though the group contained some Democrats, it was dismissed by Party leadership.
A group of Democratic Committee chairs, including Maxine Waters, Carolyn Maloney, and Frank Pallone, released an “unusual” statement denouncing the “Problem Solvers” plan, saying it “falls short of what is needed to save lives and boost the economy.”
Democrats countered soon after by passing an updated version of the HEROES Act that offered $2.2 trillion in relief. The Republicans, this time led by Steve Mnuchin and an increasingly desperate-seeming Donald Trump, came back on October 9th with a $1.8 trillion proposal. Reeling as he stumbled toward Election Day thanks to a series of missteps and scandals, Trump seemed anxious to go beyond his previous numbers, if it meant he’d get to sign more checks before Election Day:
Donald J. Trump @realdonaldtrump Covid Relief Negotiations are moving along. Go Big! October 9th 2020
28,262 Retweets172,107 Likes This time, even some prominent Democrats were insisting the time was right to strike. “We’re in a place where we should be able to do a deal,” said California’s Ro Khanna. “We have a moral obligation to do something.”
The Democratic leadership disagreed. It was reported that Pelosi was now insisting on at least $436 billion in state and local aid, and the Mnuchin plan of $300 billion for states and localities just wouldn’t cut it. In a “Dear Colleagues” letter on October 10th, Pelosi described Trump as more interested in taking credit than passing an aid plan:
When the President talks about wanting a bigger relief package, his proposal appears to mean that he wants more money at his discretion to grant or withhold, rather than agreeing on language prescribing how we honor our workers, crush the virus and put money in the pockets of workers.
Ultimately, of course, no deal got done before the election. After the election, the Democrats put two of their most conservative members — Manchin and Virginia’s Mark Warner — in charge of negotiating the Covid-19 relief bill.
Manchin is the guy who just responded to reports that Trump wanted to give out “more money” in direct payments by saying he thought it was a “bad idea” to give out stimulus checks and not supplemental unemployment relief.
Manchin and Warner repped the Democrats in the bipartisan group that included Republicans Collins from Maine, Lisa Murkowski from Alaska, and Bill Cassidy from Louisiana. Their new deal unveiled today makes little sense, in the context of all of those prior negotiations.
Remember all of that state and local funding that Democrats insisted was so crucial to the aid package?
Today, the state and local aid package signed off on by Manchin and Warner is down to $160 billion, appropriated as part of a separate bill that may or may not pass at all, with the main $748 billion plan. In other words, Democrats just agreed to take seven times less than the $1.13 trillion they asked for in the HEROES Act, and about half of Mnuchin’s $300 billion offer in October that Pelosi rejected as “sadly inadequate.”
As for that $748 billion bill? According to the senior Democratic aide, who pointed to comments made by Mitt Romney, it includes $560 billion in offsets, “repurposed from March’s CARES Act.”
In other words, the aide says, “The $748 billion deal is really just $188 billion in new money.” Given all the high-flown rhetoric the Party devoted before Election Day to rejecting aid packages they deemed heartlessly small, the hypocrisy, he says, is “amazing.”
If you include the $160 billion package for state and local aid, the new deal offers a maximum of $348 billion in new money, well below some of the better offers they received from Republicans over the summer and fall, and on par instead with the very worst GOP proposals, like that “Skinny” bill passed in September, which netted out to $300 billion after offsets.
Conspicuously absent? As CNBC put it, the deal “lacks one key area of aid,” the $1,200 direct payment checks that seemingly everyone on the Hill claimed to want, from Trump to McConnell to Pelosi. Those are gone from the “Christmas Miracle,” but fear not, because the bill didn’t screw over everyone heading into the holidays. You can find this little nugget on the last line of the summary of the Bipartisan Covid-19 Relief Act of 2020:
“There are no direct payments for regular working people, people living off tips,” the aide says. “But they made sure there’s a provision in there to help defense contractors who aren’t working right now. They get what they’re looking for.”
With the Orange One on his way out of the White House, denying the president a political win is no longer even theoretically important. Because of this, there’s a school of thought that this deal is revealing something important about how Democrats want to lead under Biden, i.e. willing and/or anxious to work with Republicans on programs signaling fiscal restraint, and away from aggressive social programming ideas of the type favored by the Party’s progressive base. Maybe that’s not the case, and this is an aberration. But it sure seems like the Democratic leadership went out of its way to take less.“

I think the post-Trump days are going to be extremely “busy”. I don’t look for Trump to go low key. I believe he’s going to keep digging for evidence to discredit the election. I have no idea if he’ll have any success or not, but he’ll remember all of the energy democrats put into his impeachment. It will be returned in kind.
The democrats are talking about one country. About working together in a bi-partisan way, but if Trump finds anything that even slightly cracks the door open the legislation will certainly nail the door shut on progressing in a bi-partisan direction.
Will we see the violence return to the streets. I wouldn’t be at all surprise if we see an uptick violence, with increased gunfire.
I’m not saying what I condone. I’m just thinking this is the direction that our current direction seem to lead us soon...
This is all going to get much worse before it gets better...

It never ends with the Out-Of-Control Police:
WHAT DONALD'S WORLD MUST CURRENTLY LOOK/FEEL LIKE:
ARTICLES OF THE DAY: Bill Barr Quit. What Finally Spooked Him? The attorney general’s sudden departure raises alarms about what Trump might do next.… Another option is that Barr realizes that Trump plans to continue challenging the election outcome. Barr has been willing to tolerate Trump’s arguments thus far, even if he himself has refused to say that Justice has evidence of meaningful fraud.
Yet the prospect of increasingly wild claims of conspiracy and an inauguration without Trump in attendance might perhaps be enough for Barr to prefer to be out of town — and out of the administration — for the next few weeks.--12-15-20: www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/carl-hiaasen-to-what-depths-has-gov-desantis-sunk-to-please-president-trump-secrecy-deception-and-even-a-raid/ar-BB1bVnbr?li=BBnbfcL Carl Hiaasen: To what depths has Gov. DeSantis sunk to please President Trump? Secrecy, deception and even a raid
From the beginning, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ handling of the COVID-19 crisis has been a course of secrecy, cold-blooded deception and negligence.
Now comes the raid by Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents on the home of Rebekah Jones, the ex-state health data analyst who started her own COVID dashboard after complaining that the DeSantis administration was twisting statistics to underplay the severity of the pandemic.
The governor initially said he didn’t know about the investigation or raid. On Friday, he admitted he did, fumed about the term “raid," and then huffed out of a press conference. Look for him soon on Fox News.
Seizing Jones’ computer — ostensibly to investigate a “hacking” incident — has all the appearance of clumsy retribution for embarrassing DeSantis. So spongy was the state’s search warrant that it prompted the resignation of former prosecutor Ron Filipowski from the 12th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, to which DeSantis had recently reappointed him.
Filipowski, a Marine veteran and lifelong Republican, said that DeSantis has been “reckless and irresponsible” in dealing with the pandemic, and that Floridians “are not being told the truth about COVID.”
A recent investigative series in the Sun-Sentinel provided sickening details about the depths to which DeSantis sunk to please President Trump, his super-spreader idol.
In late September, for instance, the Florida Department of Health — DeSantis’ pliant Ministry of Propaganda — told county officials to stop making public statements about COVID-19 until after the Nov. 3 election.
News releases or media posts must not mention the virus, the order stated. It came from Alberto Moscoso, communications chief of the state health department. He left his job Nov. 6.
The motive for muzzling local health departments was obvious. Florida being a key state for Trump, DeSantis didn’t want voters to be reminded that COVID-19 was on a deadly surge.
On Sept. 25, DeSantis himself ordered a full reopening of bars and restaurants, and sought to stop local governments from enforcing mask mandates. Between Sept. 30 and Election Day, at least 2,526 Floridians died of COVID-related causes.
That number, which came from the state, is probably higher. Real experts believe the state’s death toll has already passed 20,000. Many of those victims could have avoided getting sick, but we have a governor who has shunned medical warnings in favor of “blue sky messaging.”

Prosecutors say former Houston Police captain Mark Anthony Aguirre said he believed the man was transporting fraudulent ballots.
"I believe it's a political prosecution," Terry Yates, Aguirre's attorney, told CNN affiliate KTRK. Prosecutors say Aguirre was paid over a quarter million dollars by a private group called "Liberty Center for God and Country" to investigate alleged ballot schemes in the Houston area.
Jared Woodfill, the center's president, told CNN the group and Republican activist Steve Hotze hired a private firm that included "Aguirre, a former FBI investigator and about 20 investigators that investigated reports of voter fraud," reports that were sent to Hotze.
The Republican activist was also one of the plaintiffs who filed a petition prior to Election Day seeking to invalidate 127,000 ballots cast in drive-thru early voting. A federal judge rejected that request. CNN has reached out to Hotze for comment.
According to the district attorney's news release, Aguirre, 63, told authorities he had conducted surveillance for four days on an unidentified man driving a truck that he suspected had 750,000 fraudulent ballots inside. The release said Aguirre believed the man was "the mastermind of a giant (voter) fraud."
Instead, prosecutors say the victim was an "innocent and ordinary" air-conditioner repairman. "Aguirre ran his SUV into the back of the truck to get the technician to stop and get out," the news release said, describing the October 19 incident.
"When the technician got out of the truck, Aguirre, pointed a handgun at the technician, forced him to the ground and put his knee on the man's back -- an image captured on the body-worn camera of a police officer."
Responding authorities found no ballots inside the vehicle, only air conditioner parts and tools, prosecutors said. After an investigation, Houston police said they found the allegations of election fraud "unfounded" and referred the case to the district attorney's office.
Aguirre had been paid more than $260,000 by the "Liberty Center" group, prosecutors alleged, and received about $211,400 the day following the incident.
He was arrested Tuesday and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison, prosecutors said. He is currently at a Harris County jail facility with bond set at $30,000.
"He crossed the line from dirty politics to commission of a violent crime and we are lucky no one was killed," Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg said in a statement. "His alleged investigation was backward from the start -- first alleging a crime had occurred and then trying to prove it happened."

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough took aim at Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s performance at a Senate hearing that promoted false claims about election fraud.
On Thursday morning’s edition of Morning Joe, Scarborough punctuated a segment about Wednesday’s Senate Homeland Security hearing on election “irregularities” by absolutely torching Paul for spreading “lies” about the election even though he knows they are false and the consequences of those lies.
“Hello, Rand Paul! Why are you lying to the American people? Why are you purposely inspiring people like the Proud Boys to go around and yell ‘Stop the Steal!’ and beating the hell out of people in the streets?” Scarborough said, his voice rising.
“Rand, why are you doing that? What, see I don’t get it, what’s in it for you, Rand?” an apoplectic Scarborough continued. “To be a liar. To your people. To your constituents! Why do you want to spread violence across America by spreading this lie? Why do you want to undermine American democracy? Why do you want to undermine faith in our system, Rand?”
“Because I’ve got to say, I don’t get it. Because you know it’s a lie!” Scarborough said. “You know there’s no widespread voter fraud, and yet you keep stirring the lie up!
So I’m just curious, what’s in it for you? Is this a 90-10 issue in Kentucky? No, I think people in Kentucky like American democracy. So who are you playing to? Who is this for? Rather than being a nebulous group that amplifies messages organically at the grassroots level, QAnon appears to also be an occasional architect of messages that, through coordinated behavior, make their way to the most powerful factions of the Republican Party. "QAnon is a disinformation network (that) has grown like a virus to attack the pillars of our democracy -- systematically with specific forms of disinformation that are strategic," said Joel Finkelstein, cofounder of the NCRI, which has produced a newly released report -- which it provided to CNN -- about QAnon that includes the finding about the #SubpoenaObama hashtag. "Working with the highest levels of power in our country, they've found ways to hijack our national conversation," Finkelstein added. The influence of QAnon swelled this year despite the ludicrous -- some would say cult-like -- contention at its core: that Trump is fighting a cabal of Satan-worshiping elites that engages in pedophilia and child sacrifice. So substantial is QAnon's following that many Republican elected officials have been loath to condemn it. The most vocal Republican critic of the group, Rep. Denver Riggleman of Virginia -- who is an adviser to the NCRI -- is serving the final days of his term. This week, as one of his last acts, he plans to deliver a rebuke of the movement on the floor of the House. "A lot of people scoff at QAnon -- think it's just a bunch of, let's face it, a bunch of idiots who believe anything on the internet," Riggleman told CNN. "But there is something sinister. White House lawyers “strongly” advised Trump against firing another FBI director out of concern that doing so would risk creating the perception that a “loyalty test” was being imposed on a position that traditionally has maintained independence from the White House, according to the senior administration official. The lawyers, led by White House counsel Pat Cipollone, specifically said that firing Wray could spark legal issues similar to those raised after Trump ousted James Comey as FBI director in 2017 in the midst of the Russia investigation, the officials said. Their concern was that firing Wray could be seen as retaliation because the president has publicly pressured him to take specific actions on certain investigations — such as announcing a probe into President-elect Joe Biden’s son — and then expressed frustration that Wray has not followed his suggestions. The announcement comes just four months after Scott donated $1.7 billion to 116 organizations, including four historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), in July. The latest round of philanthropic gifts total more than $4.16 billion donated by Scott to organizations nationwide in the past four months. "The pandemic has been a wrecking ball in the lives of Americans already struggling," Scott wrote in a Medium post. "Economic losses and health outcomes alike have been worse for women, for people of color, and for people living in poverty. Meanwhile, it has substantially increased the wealth of billionaires." Scott's post included a list of the hundreds of organizations that received funds, including financial service providers for under-resourced communities, education for historically marginalized and underserved individuals, civil rights advocacy groups and legal defense funds that take on institutional discrimination. Scott, who is a philanthropist and author as well as the ex-wife of Amazon (AMZN)founder Jeff Bezos, noted that her team examined more than 6,490 organizations to determine which groups would receive the donations following her decision to accelerate the pace of her giving this year. The process combined data with the "suggestions and perspectives of field experts, funders and non-profit leader and volunteers with decades of experience." In the latest round of giving, Scott donated $40 million to Morgan State University, an HBCU in Baltimore. The gift is the largest single private donation in the university's history, and roughly doubles the school's endowment. Scott gave $50 million to Prairie View A&M University in Texas — the school's largest donation ever, and nearly doubling its endowment, according to the university. Other HBCUs including Claflin, Virginia State and Dillard University also received donations. Endowments for HBCUs tend to be smaller in comparison to other institutions due to a history of inequitable funding. Other organizations on the list included the local chapters of Goodwill, Meals on Wheels, YMCA and United Way; the NAACP; Global Fund for Women; and ACE (Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs), which provides affordable loans to underserved small businesses. "We do this research and deeper diligence not only to identify organizations with high potential for impact, but also to pave the way for unsolicited and unexpected gifts given with full trust and no strings attached," Scott said in the post. He just says, ‘Sorry, you got a guilty verdict, you’re going to prison for the rest of your life.’” On behalf of Winslow, IPNO filed an application for post-conviction relief to Caddo Parish District Attorney James Stewart in June 2019, arguing that Winslow was not given the right to a fair trial. His defense attorney, Alex Rubenstein (whom I interviewed for a 2015 Daily Beast story on Winslow — which, coincidentally, led Park to his case), hardly mentioned Winslow by name in the trial. He gave an opening statement 30 seconds long, called no witnesses and presented no evidence. Park said that had Rubenstein emphasized that Winslow was homeless at the time of arrest, or that he was merely acting as a “runner” for a white dealer who — despite pocketing the majority of money — was never arrested, the jury might have ruled differently. Attorney Reginald Stambaugh sent a letter this week to the Town of Palm Beach saying he represents a neighbor who doesn’t want the president to take up residence at the 17-acre property because it would decrease the area’s property values. He also asserts that a microwave security barrier operated by the Secret Service is harming his client, who he says is exhibiting symptoms of microwave exposure. He did not give the client’s name. The city of Chicago attempted to block a local news station from airing recently obtained body camera footage of police mistakenly raiding the wrong home with guns drawn and handcuffing a distressed, naked woman. CBS2-TV released body camera footage on Monday night of officers forcing their way into the home of Anjanette Young nearly two years ago. The 50-year-old clinical social worker, who helps victims of violence and mentors people of color going into her profession, had just finished her work shift at a hospital and was undressing in her bedroom when a group of male officers broke down her door with a battering ram. “It was so traumatic to hear the thing that was hitting the door,” she told CBS2 in a televised interview as part of Monday’s report. “And it happened so fast, I didn’t have time to put on clothes.” In the disturbing Feb. 21, 2019, footage, officers appear to have their guns drawn while they yell for Young to put her hands up. She can then be seen in the video fully naked with her hands raised, looking terrified and confused (CBS2 blurred parts of the video in which Young was shown naked). One officer puts Young’s hands behind her back and handcuffs her, leaving her with no way to cover herself as police search her home. An officer can be seen attempting to drape a short coat around Young’s shoulders, which still leaves her front fully exposed while police surround her. Someone puts a blanket on her that keeps sliding open because she can’t hold it closed. Eventually, an officer holds the blanket closed on her. Young becomes increasingly and understandably distressed in the footage as officers refuse to tell her why they have raided her home. She asks them repeatedly to let her put clothes on and tells them she believes they have the wrong information. According to CBS2, Young told police at least 43 times that they were in the wrong home. She said that officers responded to her distress in a way that amplified it, telling her not to shout when she’d ask questions. “When I asked them to show me, when I asked them to tell me what they are doing in my house, and their response to me was just ‘shut up and calm down,’” Young told the station, “that’s so disrespectful.” ADVERTISEMENT CBS2 found that the officers involved failed to check if they had the correct address before getting their search warrant approved. A confidential informant had told the raid’s lead officer that he’d recently seen a known felon with guns and ammunition at the address, according to the police department’s complaint for a search warrant, which the news station obtained. The informant reportedly gave police the wrong address, and there’s no evidence that officers independently verified the informant’s claim.

This has nothing to do with Tucker. This is me, personally reading and assessing Jill Biden’s paper. No big deal, but it was written at about an eighth grade level (more typical than exceptional). She did the required work to the best of her ability and got a generous pass from her professor.
I felt the subject matter was not impactful, and failed to show that she had expertise to solve the issue. Not knowing the grading policies of this professor, I have no idea what it took for the other students to pass. I know it didn’t take much for this student to pass...

When President Donald Trump convened his Cabinet at the White House Wednesday as Washington absorbed news of a massive data breach, the heads of most agencies relevant to the intrusion — including the Department of Defense, the State Department, the Justice Department, the director of national intelligence and the Central Intelligence Agency — were absent.
After the meeting, Trump said nothing about the attack, which went undetected by his administration's intelligence agencies for months. As those agencies now mobilize to assess the damage — which the government said Thursday could be more widespread than initially thought, posing a "grave risk to the federal government" — the President himself remains silent on the matter, preoccupied instead with his election loss and his invented claims of widespread voter fraud.-12-18-20: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/fbi-scrambles-to-assess-damage-from-russia-linked-us-government-hack/ar-BB1c1gGp?li=BBnb7Kz FBI scrambles to assess damage from Russia-linked US government hackU.S. officials have been scrambling to assess the damage from a potentially devastating breach across multiple U.S. government computer networks, include those at the State, Commerce and Treasury departments, and the nation's cybersecurity agency on Thursday issued an alert saying the threat posed "a grave risk to the Federal Government and state, local, tribal, and territorial governments as well as critical infrastructure entities and other private sector organizations." --12-18-20 SO DAMN SAD & AWFUL: www.yahoo.com/news/cdc-banned-evictions-those-affected-100018370.html The CDC banned evictions for those affected by Covid. Last month, Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced the indictment of an alleged gun trafficking ring that sought to illegally sell weapons in Brownsville.

An independent autopsy found a 22-year-old Black man killed by Texas police last week was shot in the back—and now his family is demanding a federal investigation into his death.
Joshua Feast, who was allegedly wanted on multiple warrants, was fatally shot by La Marque police officer Jose H. Santos Jr. across the street from his Galveston house on Dec. 9. Police allege the 22-year-old pointed a firearm at Santos, who responded by firing several gunshots.
But Ben Crump, a civil rights attorney representing the Feast family, insisted the father-of-two posed no threat and was actually fleeing the scene when he was fatally shot. His death, which was captured on video that has yet to be released, has since spurred protests across Texas against police brutality.

Actually, I believe it has something to do with Tucker Carlson, as I doubt you would have searched to read it without his Fox News show negativity and castigation over a politician’s wife’s doctoral degree. Every professor with a doctoral degree at Tucker Carlson‘s La Jolla Country Day School, St. George’s Boarding School in Rhode Island, and Trinity College in Connecticut, I guarantee you he called Dr. (insert last name). Anyone who attended a university knows the difference between a physician and a professor, both of whom it is customary and correct to honor them with the title they earned. It happens every single day.
