but I am somewhat familiar. Though, I think there is a significant difference between Thomas being accused of harrassment (saying untoward things) and Kavanaugh being accused of being a serial rapist who ran a gang rape ring. Especially in today's day and age with social media and direct access of this filth to a man's children.

No, scumbag Avenetti says they were drugged or gotten so drunk that Judge with the help of Kav recruited guys to bang them while they were immobilised, not that they did it themselves. I don't think that outrageous charge is even being investigated by the FBI.

Im still curious what made Ford so believable? Sympathetic? Yes, sure. Credible? Not quite. Lets review.
1. The account of the number of people at the both party and in the room when the alleged assault happened has been inconsistent throughout the process. Well documented at this point.
2. So has the timing and her alleged age (mid 80s and late teens changed to early 80s to precisely 1982).
3. She has refused to produce therapist notes (her single piece of evidence) and polygraph audio. The hand written polygraph note with a number of edits is also highly suspect but no explanation has been given (the audio would probably help).
4. She does not remember whose house it was or where the house was located, who invited her to the party, how she got there, how she got home (despite fleeing in haste), or when it even was.
5. Leland Keyser, Ford's lifelong friend, has given a sworn statement that she does not even know Brett Kavanaugh and has no recollection of a gathering like Ford described. Ford's explanation for this is that "Leland has health problems." Judge and Smyth have given the same sworn testimony (dont know what Ford is talking about).
6. During her opening statement, Dr. Ford said the thing that stuck with her most was when Kavanaugh allegedly covered her mouth. Later in the testimony she said the thing that is most seared into her memory was the boy's laughter during the alleged ordeal. She has also changed her story about who pushed her into the room.
7. Ford, or her Democrat operative counsel at least, was obviously lying about her fear of flying in order to delay and obstruct a potential hearing. It is now well established that she flies frequently for trips.
8. Ford couldnt remember if she gave the therapist notes to the Washington Post when she contacted them. This was a huge story and this would have only happened a few weeks ago.
9. The story about Ford wanting a second door in her home because of the PTSD from this alleged incident appears to be a lie that has since unraveled.
10. One of Ford's ex-boyfriends has submitted a sworn statement to the Senate tonight stating that much of what she claimed is inconsistent with their 6 years together including that she coached a former roommate on how to take a polygraph (a direct contradiction to her testimony), that she lived in Hawaii for a period and flew all the time, and lived in a small apartment with a single door (contradicting the claustrophobia and need for two doors claim). He says she also made fraudulent purchases on a credit card after they broke up and lied about it.
This is not a credible person. But you all are hung up on high school drinking and fart jokes in a yearbook and trying to lie about what was said in testimony to prove some bogus perjury claim while integral American principles hang in the balance.
You have Chuck Schumer and Masie Hirono saying there is no presumption of innocence for Kavanaugh. You have Cory Booker saying it doesnt matter if hes innocent or guilty, he should withdraw anyways. You had numerous Democratic Senators perpetuating this "gang rape" story which couldnt be more obviously a blatant hoax courtesy of Michael Avenatti and a woman with problems.
Its not about believing women, its about believing evidence. The cry of "I believe" is the cry of every lynch mob throughout all of history. "Believe women" means nothing, "believe evidence" means everything.

I don't think that outrageous charge is even being investigated by the FBI. From Julie Swetnick's sworn statement: "I also witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could then be ‘gang raped’ in a side room or bedroom by a ‘train’ of numerous boys. I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms and many of these parties waiting for their ‘turn’ with a girl inside the room. These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh." There is no other way to read this other than that this woman is saying Kavanaugh and Judge were drugging girls and gang raping them. This outrageous charge wasnt investigated by the FBI because it is a blatant farce. That didnt stop the media and sitting US Senators from running with it for days. Could you imagine your 10 year old daughter having to consume this filth? Wouldnt you react the way Kavanaugh did?

Last year, a number of Republican congresspeople were nearly the victims of an assassination including the wounding of Rep. Steve Scalise. Since then, prominent Democrats both in the government and in the media have said that Republicans should be confronted and made uncomfortable in public for their views. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was chased from a restaurant. Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao were harrassed. Kristjen Neilsen was harrassed and chased from a restaurant. That was a few weeks ago. Now again in the past week, Ted Cruz was chased out of a restaurant while trying to have a meal with his wife (the harassers getting in his wife's face too). However, most concerning to me is that it appears someone has sent Ricin to Cruz, Defense Secretary Mad Dog Mattis, and Trump today. Maryland Rep Andy Harris was also attacked at his office by left wing lunatics. This is extremely dangerous and is being fully endorsed/encouraged by the Left in this country.
But please tell me again how its the Right who are angry and violent?

The fact that she clearly recognised her assailant, told her future husband of the attack in 2012, as well as other friends are consistent. The rest regarding doors and airplanes, etc. which moment was scarier, hand over the mouth or the maniacal background laughter really miss the point and are superfluous, as so many differing stories on both sides. What are the allegations, and are the refutations enough to avoid an investigation ? Obviously not as in fact the main themed inconsistencies are being put under the microscope now. We will know the truth before long. Will the losing side accept the findings? Who knows... If Ford loses, no doubt it will be seen as yet another case of the powerful subjecting women by any means necessary. If Kav loses, its all a conspiracy to negate the results of .the 2016 election and further erode the social structures in place for decades. Who wins? Fucking nobody. Least of all the unvarnished truth.. Like the nursery rhyme said- and all the kings horses and all the kings men.....

"More than 500 law professors from nearly 100 law schools around the nation have signed a letter to the U.S. Senate to say that the volatile temperament Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh displayed on Thursday as he testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee disqualifies him from sitting on the nation’s highest court.
“We regret that we feel compelled to write to you to provide our views that at the Senate hearings on Thursday, September 27, 2018, the Honorable Brett Kavanaugh displayed a lack of judicial temperament that would be disqualifying for any court, and certainly for elevation to the highest court of this land,” the letter says.
The letter is signed by many high-profile law professors, including eight from Yale Law School, where Kavanaugh obtained his law degree."
....above is a portion of something I just read online.

It would be interesting to know the party affiliations of those law professors. It would seem to be an organized effort, as I doubt that 500 individuals would all have a personal motivation to compose such a letter and submit it...
That doesn’t make them right or wrong, nuts or sane. It just is. I know that most trades have people approaching them asking them to send this or do to their congressman to assure that this or that doesn’t become the status quo...
This situation continues to grow interesting off-shoots..,

Dome, I never participated in the gang-bangs that I was aware of in highschool, but the evidence was quite clear in those situations that the girl invited the attention. I also had two lucky friends that were brothers that had an attractive teen aged girl (the guys were teen-aged too) that would always enter their back yard tent when they camped out and entertain them both. They didn’t have to tell her they were camping out. She would see the tent and sneak over to their yard. Maybe these girls in these circumstances would be termed whores, or maybe they just happened to be extremely sexually active like we would say of a young guy that spread his seed abundantly. There is a stigma if women are loose, but none if guys “get around”. I didn’t start that stigma, but it’s existed as far back as I’m aware. I Will tell you of one my former brother-in-laws wives. She actually told us that her history of being “loose” was true and in no uncertain terms. She said “I love c*cks. I love them all, big ones, small ones, circumcised, uncircumsized, fat ones, skinny ones, long ones, short ones, and all colors”. She continued that she had taken them in every way possible and sometimes more than one at a time. If you think this to be graphic, I cleaned it up a bit to present it here. What are we to think of a women like that CHOOSES to be on the end of a receiving line? That she’s being gang raped? Obviously not. It was a bit shocking that my (former) brother-in-law chose to marry this woman after leaving his wife for her, but... to each his own. Now if a lady were being drugged or forced, even coerced in any manner, then that would indeed be a gang rape...and that would be horribly wrong...But it’s not clear if these sexual encounters even occurred in any form at parties that Kavanaugh attended, nor if he was aware of them or participated in them if they did indeed occur. It’s only clear that the encounters are alleged to have happened. I don’t understand how you can be shocked at this particular portion of life... INGER: Can you PLEASE forward me how to contact your Ex-Brother In Law's Wife. Maybe she would like a PAID Vacation to Nowhere Baja? She will be treated like a Queen...

Lol. She was once a fairly attractive lady that had no trouble finding suitors, for sure. The one drawback for me besides the fact that she had all those miles on her was that she had a voice that made Johnny Cash sound like a tenor. Years of heavy smoking. I’d probably put her age now at 75-77 or so, so I would have to believe that the exterior could use a new paint job by now, too...
I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t still wear chrome lipstick, if you get my drift...

--10-03-18: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/in-mississippi-trump-mocks-fords-claims-against-kavanaugh/ar-BBNPjhn WHAT DID YOU EXPECT...? IT IS THE BULLY DONALD SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — President Donald Trump ignited a crowd at a campaign rally in Mississippi on Tuesday by mocking a woman who has claimed she was sexually assaulted by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh decades ago.
The audience laughed as Trump ran through a list of what he described as holes in Christine Blasey Ford's testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
She testified that Kavanaugh pinned her on a bed, tried to take off her clothes and covered her mouth in the early 1980s, when the two were teenagers. Kavanaugh has denied Ford's allegations.
"How did you get home? 'I don't remember,'" Trump said at the rally in Southaven. "How did you get there? 'I don't remember.' Where is the place? 'I don't remember.' How many years ago was it? 'I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.'"
Imitating Ford, he added, "But I had one beer — that's the only thing I remember."
It marked the sharpest criticism by Trump of Ford since she came forward publicly with the allegation last month.
He had previously called Ford a "very credible witness."
Ford's lawyer Michael Bromwich called Trump's attack "vicious, vile and soulless."
"Is it any wonder that she was terrified to come forward, and that other sexual assault survivors are as well?" Bromwich tweeted. "She is a remarkable profile in courage. He is a profile in cowardice." AND: 10-03-18: us.cnn.com/2018/10/03/opinions/trump-mocking-blasey-ford-kavanaugh-tami-sawyer/index.html
--10-03-18: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/some-witnesses-say-they-called-fbi-in-vain-as-end-of-kavanaugh-probe-looms/ar-BBNRAZJ?li=BBnb4R7 Several people with information related to allegations of sexual misconduct against U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh say they have tried in vain to speak with the FBI, which is expected to wrap up its investigation this week.
Under pressure, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the FBI investigation following a dramatic Senate hearing last week in which university professor Christine Blasey Ford detailed a sexual assault she says was carried out by Kavanaugh and his friend, Mark Judge, at a high school party in 1982.
However, the White House gave the FBI a deadline of Friday to provide the results of a week-long inquiry into the allegations - all of which Kavanaugh has vehemently denied.
The FBI has already interviewed Judge, who has denied any memory of such an incident, as well as at least three other people with information about the allegations made by Ford and a second accuser, Deborah Ramirez.
Ramirez claims Kavanaugh exposed himself to her when they both attended Yale University.
Ford's lawyers said on Tuesday she had offered her full cooperation with the FBI in its investigation but had received no reply.
"It is inconceivable that the FBI could conduct a thorough investigation of Dr. Ford's allegations without interviewing her, Judge Kavanaugh, or the witnesses we have identified in our letters to you," the lawyers said in their letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray.
A person familiar with the matter said the FBI questioned Deborah Ramirez for more than two hours on Sunday and that she provided the FBI with a list of more than 20 possible witnesses.
Richard Oh, a classmate of Ramirez and Kavanaugh at Yale, told Reuters he contacted the FBI's Denver field office twice at the weekend hoping to provide information he believed would support Ramirez's account.
Oh said it was unclear if the person he spoke with at the FBI passed on his statement to agents working on the case.
"I didn't get the sense that this person even knew what the Kavanaugh case was about," said Oh, an emergency room doctor in California. "I was hoping to hear back from them for follow-up questions. I still haven't heard from them."
'NOBODY CONTACTED Mark Krasberg, who lived in the same dormitory as Kavanaugh at Yale, said he had also been unsuccessful in connecting with the right people at the FBI despite efforts to provide "information which backs up part of Debbie Ramirez's story."
Those efforts included calling the FBI's Denver field office, which he chose because it is Ramirez's home state, and several emails with Senate aides starting on Friday, Krasberg said.
Jo Miller, who has spoken out in support of Ramirez, noted that two other Yale classmates of Kavanaugh - Tad Low and Kerry Berchem - had also sought to contact FBI agents working on the case without success.
"As far as I can tell nobody has been contacted," Miller said.
The claims are significant because Democrats in the U.S. Senate will likely complain that the FBI was not given enough time to complete a proper investigation into the allegations against Kavanaugh.
Republicans have a narrow 51-49 majority in the Senate and Trump and party leaders want to get Kavanaugh confirmed ahead of Nov. 6 elections, in which Democrats are trying to seize control of Congress.
The stakes are high because Kavanaugh's confirmation would consolidate conservative control of the Supreme Court.
Three moderate Republicans have yet to say if they will back Kavanaugh and they will likely be the key votes when the Senate finally decides.
Trump raised the temperature even further at a rally in Mississippi on Tuesday night, mocking Ford for not having answers to some questions during her Senate testimony. READ MORE…
--10-03-18: www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/dozens-potential-sources-information-have-not-been-contacted-fbi-kavanaugh-n916146 WASHINGTON — More than 40 people with potential information into the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have not been contacted by the FBI, according to multiple sources that include friends of both the nominee and his accusers.
The supplemental background investigation was reopened in the wake of last week's Senate Judiciary Committee hearings over Ford's accusation.
The White House has said this week that it has authorized the FBI to expand its initially limited investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Kavanaugh by interviewing anyone it deems necessary as long as the review is finished by the end of the week, NBC News has reported.
Meanwhile, nearly 20 people with potential information about Dr. Ford’s allegation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her while the two were in high school, including Ford herself, have not been interviewed by federal investigators.
Attorneys for Ford said Tuesday that she had not been interviewed by the FBI. She received "no response" after reaching out again to the bureau, according to a letter from her attorneys.
Her team also submitted to the FBI a list of nearly 20 people to turn to, including the polygraph examiner who interviewed Ford, her therapist and friends she confided in about the allegation. According to people familiar with the names on the list, none of them have yet been interviewed by the FBI.
Julie Swetnick, who has accused Kavanaugh of being at parties where boys took turns having sex with inebriated girls in high school, has not been interviewed by the FBI, according to her attorney, Michael Avenatti.
Kavanaugh has strongly denied all three accusations.
The FBI has interviewed at least three additional potential witnesses, most notably Kavanaugh's high school friend, Mark Judge, who Ford said was in the room at the time of the alleged assault. Judge submitted a statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee saying "I do not recall the events described by Dr. Ford in her public testimony."
And Tim Gaudette, a high school classmate of Kavanaugh’s, has been interviewed by the FBI, NBC News has confirmed. The Washington Post reported Tuesday that another classmate, Chris Garrett, was also interviewed.
Ramirez appears to be the only accuser who was interviewed as part of the current investigation.
But several people who know Kavanaugh from his time at Yale told NBC News that they have reached out to the FBI multiple times to provide either corroborating or circumstantial evidence into Ramirez’ allegations that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her at a gathering in a dorm room in 1983.
The FBI has yet to respond to their outreach, they say.
Additionally, these former classmates say the FBI would not be doing a thorough investigation if they don’t talk to Kavanaugh’s closest friends during that time, including Kevin Genda and David White.
White lived in the same dorm suite as Kavanaugh and sources say all three hung out often and partied together. Neither Genda nor White have returned multiple requests for comment. NBC News does not know if they have been contacted yet for an interview.
Genda, who works at Blue Torch Feeder Fund in New York City, married Karen Yarsavage, who was also friends with Kavanaugh and Ramirez at Yale. Both Kavanaugh and Ramirez were in their wedding party in 1997.
Another mutual friend, Kerry Berchem, has sent a series of text messages she exchanged with Yarsavage to the FBI.
The texts suggest that Kavanaugh had recently been in contact with Genda and Yarsavage, including in the days leading up to the release of the New Yorker article detailing Ramirez’ allegations.
Despite three attempts to contact the FBI, the bureau has not responded to Berchem, she tells NBC News. Yarsavage has not responded to NBC’s inquiry to determine whether she has been contacted by investigators. READ MORE…
--10-03-18: us.cnn.com/2018/10/02/politics/trump-brett-kavanaugh-turning-point-election-educated-white-women-voters/index.html (CNN) — Even before Christine Blasey Ford delivered her controlled but explosive testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, college-educated white women like her represented a rising threat to Republican prospects in the November election.
But Ford's detailed allegations of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could allow Democrats to solidify an unprecedented advantage among those women, who represent one of the few steadily growing components of the white electorate.
Coming even as many professional white women are already recoiling from President Donald Trump's definition of the Republican Party, and Democrats have nominated an unprecedented number of professional women for Congress, the collision between Kavanaugh and Ford -- a professional herself -- has the potential to reinforce a lasting shift in loyalties that could tip the partisan balance in white-collar suburbs around America.
"College-educated white women have identified very strongly with Dr. Ford and relate to her as a person, and will be turned off by the angry diatribes of Brett Kavanaugh," says Democratic pollster Ben Tulchin. "This dynamic will likely further boost college-educated women's engagement in this election.
New polling released Monday showed how the confrontation over Ford's allegations could reinforce these dynamics. A national Quinnipiac University survey found that 61% of college-educated white women said they believed Ford over Kavanaugh; 58% of such well-educated women said the Senate should reject his nomination, according to detailed results provided by Quinnipiac.
By contrast, just over half of white women without degrees said they believed Kavanaugh and the Senate should confirm him.
That divergence is a reminder that for all the talk about an undifferentiated gender gap, a key political dynamic of the Trump era has been a widening "class gap" between white women with and without college degrees. In 2016, exit polls found that Hillary Clinton carried 51% of white women with at least four-year college degrees, compared with 44% for Trump.
But Trump carried a commanding 61% among white women without college degrees, and widespread support among those women was key to his victories in the Rust Belt states that decided the election. The 17-percentage-point gap between Trump's support among blue- and white-collar white women in the exit poll was by far the widest divergence for any candidate since 1980. READ MORE…
--10-03-18: www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/two-former-yale-classmates-withdraw-support-for-kavanaugh/ar-BBNR5pK?li=BBnbcA1 A pair of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's former classmates at Yale Law on Tuesday withdrew their support of him after previously endorsements.
Michael Proctor and Mark Osler wrote in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and ranking member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) that they can no longer support Kavanaugh's confirmation because of the "nature" of his testimony in front of the committee last week while addressing accusations of sexual misconduct.
"In our view that testimony was partisan, and not judicious, and inconsistent with what we expect from a Justice of the Supreme Court, particularly dealing with a co-equal branch of government," they wrote.
They added that their decision to withdraw their support was not based on the allegations made by Christine Blasey Ford, who has said that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school.

Just one teeny weeny little thing, DOME. It seems to me that your posts are getting a bit repetitive. Have you ever noticed that TV viewership drops after all the new episodes of shows have aired and they’re replaying them as nauseum?
Length of post and quality of information are not necessarily congruent. I would swear you’ve posted some of this same information on more than on occasion, or does it just seem like it?...

But inger, have you heard that the Angry White Men have Dark Age Beliefs? I heard that somewhere...But what really frightened me beyond belief was the thought that a teen boy might write a letter to his friend warning that there might be drunkeness and puking at a college party. Oh my god! Humor! Humor is not funny, it's scary. It shows that a young man might not have fully matured in his teens and could black out from alcohol in his past or future, or...maybe even right now! Judge! Judge! Your Honor! Are you awake during these proceedings?... What really scared the hell out of me though was the thought that a teen age boy actually wrote a letter...of any kind...to anyone. I had no idea that kind of behavior existed. A LETTER, for god's sake. What kind of person IS THIS???
