Got Sev going tonight; hope he goes at least 6-innings. I care more about how many runs he allows than the # of innings pitched. I care more that he looks right and is throwing strikes, and the the aura of confidence returns to his face and his body language. If all of those things come about, then the innings will take care of themselves... |

Facing deGrom, Sevy better be on top of this game tonight. That's true, but on the other hand, De Grom DOES pitch for the Mets, which means he's 6-7 on the season despite his 1.77 MLB-leading ERA. The same could be said for De Grom. He's not only facing Severino, but he's facing the mighty New York Yankees ( Starring Neil "Don't call me Todd" Walker and featuring Sugar Shane Robinson and Luke Voit on offense)... (: |

I’m still not overly thrilled with him. Yes, he’s been hot, but what goes up must come down. Overall he’s really just not that good...
