Andujar is definitely the best player on this team when the chips are down... whod’ve thunk it???

As much as i’ve enjoyed Cashman’s conservative ways, I was quite concerned that he was squeezing the prospects and the dollar (though the Steinbrenners were probably more guilty there) too tight. An injured starting rotation is becoming more of a concern. The lack of a back up plan for Bird is starting to show badly and the light cast in the OF is becoming more of a concern than ever. The bullpen is now strong on the front line, but now with Chapman struggling we’re seeing that the pen is getting exposed and perhaps not as strong as it appeared earlier. Probably the worst issue of all is that Gary Sanchez has not been st all what we expected this season. What a strange season it’s been. How in the hell do they have the 2nd best record in baseball? Seriously, it's amazing.

Damn you AJ Cole and those tack on runs you gave up.

They’v been two different teams this season. The inconsistency is maddening. I would be able to make more sense of it if the rookie were screwing us up, but it’s the veterans...
Again, very strange. So strange that I wouldn’t be shocked if they fall out of the playoffs, nor if they won 75% of the rest of their games and caught the Red Sox...
Heck, they might still win this one...

ESPN crawler announces the death of Jim Neidhart, pro wrestler at age 63. Was it all that long ago that ESPN wouldn’t even mention anything about pro wrestling because it was fake???

I don't think he's fully healthy. Orioles never make a trade with the Yankees it seemed suspicious.

Way too many hard hit balls from this Mets lineup tonight.

When it rains it pours. Pitching staff is in shambles. Even without Judge and Sanchez they are still scoring runs. Maybe should have went after DeGrom harder.

It's sad news for Mr. Neidhart and his family but is it really sports news? That’s just it. I guess it is some kind of news beyond just a common obituary. Maybe belongs on Entertainment Tonight. Because my son was addicted to wrestling, Neidhardt spent many evenings in our living room years ago. The death of any human is never to be taken lightly, but..,ESPN? Sports? No...

Do we have the worst good team or the best bad team? I’m so confused...
