Such a weird feeling all those years the yankees were in the Indians position winning 100 games and not even making the ALCS. Weird, but exciting to be on the other side of that for once. Indians choked again!

What a comeback, what a win! Happy for the team that they fought back after Joe didn’t challenge the HBP. Houston will be tough, especially Friday after 3 emotional games and some guy named Keuchel. But we can win this series, no doubt about it.
Also, even though I was a long time lurker and didn’t post much on the Scout board (GatorBait1255 is my handle over there) it sure was nice reading and commenting a little more during this series.
See you in Houston, ASSTROS!

I am only 21, so I don't as far as back as most of you, but this is easily, without question the most enjoyable season I've ever had as a Yankee fan. Even more enjoyable than 2009. Its different thats for sure. Obviously you don't remember 1996 because you were born about then, but that team was very similar to this one. Jeter wasn't expected to be a starter, but he wound up being one after an injury to the starting SS. Rivera was not even the closer then just a setup man who wound up finishing the season in the top 5 of the cy young voting, role players like Mariano Duncan, Charlie Hayes etc. It just seemed like everyone that was a member of that team contributed in some way very similar to this one. They also beat a staff of 3 pitchers considered to be in the top tier of the league. Obviously the indians staff isnt HOF worthy, but it was highly talked about. Oh and this in the clinching game 6 :

There used to be a poster that would go to all the rangers games every time the yankees played down there, but I dunno if he posts anymore I haven't seen him in a while. No clue if he goes to Astros games too since the Astros weren't in the AL when he was posting.
