Would you take the 6 last place finishes as a trade off for 2 WS titles? I would any day. The ring is forever. Sure, it's excruciating having the bad years, but winning it all is the whole point of the game. They don't put up banners for having 15 decent seasons in a row. Yea I'm sure the Royals for example are more than fine with all their losing seasons since they had 14 WS appearance and 15 WS win. More than the Yankees have done in the last decade. |

I doubt if they're fine with the losing seasons, but at least you don't have to be old enough to legally drink to remember the last time they were in the World Series. |
