He stuck the landing and even went in to a perfect Statue of Liberty pose with the beer held high at the end. |

Paul Skenes an obvious choice for NL ROY. Arguably the best rookie pitcher since they started giving the award an ERA+ of 214 tops other great rookie seasons from Blue and Gooden and Valenzuela and Wood, among others. Another bragging point for rizzuto and LSU. |

Paul Skenes an obvious choice for NL ROY. Arguably the best rookie pitcher since they started giving the award an ERA+ of 214 tops other great rookie seasons from Blue and Gooden and Valenzuela and Wood, among others. Another bragging point for rizzuto and LSU. Had the Pirates started the year with him in the rotation, he may have been ticketed for the Cy Young Award. Skenes is as talented a college pitcher as I have ever seen. |
