They get bored of sleeping all day and maybe golf. Seems great when you retire, but the excitement only last so long.

I am not fond of retirement. I had 300 resumes printed on premium linen paper only to learn that no one sends out resumes anymore. And that is why I am retired.

After wearing a suit & tie 5 days a week for 40+ years, my "wardrobe" consists of 50 T-Shirts & 25 shorts. I did keep a blue sports coat & a pair of grey slacks "just in case". |

Not to get ahead of ourselves but Lets go Guardians in Game 4 of Detroit/Cleveland so that Skubal has to be used in Game 5 and not set up for Game 1 of the ALCS!

Hurricane Milton ripped the roof from atop Tropicana Field. While that is far from being the most pressing issue for the people of Florida, it might have an impact on MLB next season. The full extent of the damage won't be known for a while and of course, there are more urgent needs for the limited resources of the community. Too early to speculate on what it means, but it could mean something.
