James Kaprielian actually appears in a game: The Jake Ellsbury of pitching prospects emerges from his burrow. Of course it rains and the game is stopped... At least it would seem that perhaps he did NOT see his shadow and will be back out of his burrow again soon...

It’s been a long time since I’ve tried to test you guys on trivia. The internet has made it way too easy to solve 95% of any questions that can be drummed up. So... here’s one that I can give you to the end of Monday to figure out.
Everyone on this list has something in common. All you have to do is figure out precisely what it is:
Earl Averill Kelly Shoppach Ramon Castro Craig Worthington Mark Parent Jason Phillips Johnny Estrada ] Let me know when you figure it out...
* List was edited at approximately 1:46am EDST to accommodate a change in parameters...Original post was a few minutes earlier.

Checking in from beautiful Sorrento (for the record, that's in Italy, not France, although it's closer to France than Ravenna.) At first, assuming you mean Earl Averill Jr. and not his Hall of Fame father, I knew all of those guys were catchers except Worthington. But that didn't seem like much of a trivia question. So the bottom line is I don't know, unless the answer is they all had relatively pedestrian careers. Just wanted to get my two cents in, plus I can't resist sports trivia questions. BTW, being in Sorrento did make me flash back for a second to ex- Indian Paul Sorrento, an established member of the all-geograhy team. Well, my wife and I are off to Pompeii. We already know the ending, but still have to see it. Look forward to seeing the answer here.

(Especially since I'm fasting during the day for Ramadan) I might break my fast today with Italian in honor of you though I know it won't be even close to what you're eating. Safe travels!

Yikes Kaybli, it wouldn't be very sporting of me to discuss food with you during Ramadan. I lived long enough in the Middle East to know to wait for sundown before bringing that up. Of course sundown for you is about 2 AM here. I'll just wait until I am back in the US to talk about it. But just in general terms -- oh man, this is food Heaven!! Ciao for now!

That’s some pretty skillful Googling, Kay... of course, there COULD. Be multiple things they have in common... 👹 You forgot to add Sal Fasano to the list too. Then you, sir...do not have the correct answer, for you have apparently used an incorrect parameter. Under the correct parameter, Sal Fasano was bypassed by the “achievement” of a recent event... It is possible (though I did not check) that Fasano may belong on a similar list... Trivia is such a lost art with the internet...sigh...There are some things would would think might not turn up on the internet, but on a world where people get photo’d on the pot... what can you do?...
