Voit was also top ten in MLB exit velo last year if you took the charts down to 50+ plate appearances.., I think a Voit/Bird platoon would be an acceptable option to start the season with next year. One of them may pull away and win the job outright. If not, then we trade... Since neither Voit or Bird can play another position other than 1B, I don't want both of them on the roster at the same time next season. With all the pitchers teams keep on the rosters now, I don't want to tie up two spots on first base. is that the way other clubs are moving?.....if so, that would probably mean Walker is still a Yankee next year....and after a very slow start, I think he has earned it.. |

Never tried a gyro before today. My odd taste meant I didn’t want the sauce, onions, or tomatoes, so it was meat and lettuce on a pita. The meat was lamb and beef. Very good. A Greek taco, so to speak, which I enjoyed more than the Mexican tacos...

Voit isn’t paid to run the bases of course. He is paid to keep track of the outs when doing so, however. The coaching or something has not been good on the bases this year...Even in a game like this we have to show how error-prone we can be...
