Might as well make this the game thread for tonight.
1. Andrew McCutchen (R) LF 2. Aaron Judge (R) RF 3. Aaron Hicks (S) CF 4. Giancarlo Stanton (R) DH 5. Luke Voit (R) 1B 6. Miguel Andujar (R) 3B 7. Gleyber Torres (R) 2B 8. Gary Sanchez (R) C 9. Adeiny Hechavarria (R) SS
Lineup doesn't look right without Didi. [img alt=" " class="smile" src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/lD0IYnVdZbyEdSEWlEUC.gif"] It would certainly help if Stanton and/or Sanchez would catch fire. For Sanchez, that may require gasoline and a bic lighter...

Voit with a heads-up his waders play...this is not a smart baseball team.

I'm not really a fan of this opener thing. So irritating. So sick of hearing about it too. If you’re to use Gray, why not just start him? Goofy man playing with his toys again...

This team used to be fun to watch. I don't know what's happened to them but since the All Star Break, it's just one poorly played game after another.

I just got home. I see he went with the doubly innovative double opener. Dang, this guy is really a genius...
I wonder if he can find a way to get everyone in the lineup to play all nine positions in a game?...

This team used to be fun to watch. I don't know what's happened to them but since the All Star Break, it's just one poorly played game after another. Boone has them focused on controlling the strike zone, no more of that silly hitting the ball. And, being rested; it's more important than today's game. Wins are overrated.

Stanton with run scoring double, then makes the last out at third...not smart baseball...

To many injuries is what happened since the all star break.

This team used to be fun to watch. I don't know what's happened to them but since the All Star Break, it's just one poorly played game after another. So true. The fun has fizzled into frustration. There’s something about hoping to overcome a bad lineup, poor pitching choices... The injuries didn’t help, of course. Worst of all has been the fundemental errors in the field and on the bases. To be fair, with two rookies in the infield, plus one of Dr. Frankenstein’s experiments hopefully only partially complete behind the plate I know we should expect some of that. These odd slumps by the regular hitters, the relievers, and even the starting pitching staff border on bizarre. I think it starts with the manager. Plus between the injuries and too-frequent rest days and substitutions it’s much more difficult for the team to play solid ball afield. As a for instance, if you know your double play partner or your cut-off man, you can almost read what ghey’re thinking and know where to throw/receive the ball. Good golly, these guys don’t hardly have a clue what spot they’ll occupy in the lineup...or where Neil Walker will be on any given day. He has to be the most beloved (by his manager) .220 hitter with limited fielding range in baseball history. I would say that’s enough...but I feel like I could spew this vitriol all night and still have some garbage in my head...
