Last reports were that his fastball is at 91 MPH. I wonder what he'll do to counterbalance that...

Last reports were that his fastball is at 91 MPH. I wonder what he'll do to counterbalance that... He’s a great pitcher and probably can be effective at that speed. But he’s their best pitcher by far. And Cora is as inexperienced as Boone. If we punch them in the mouth with him on the mound I think they freak out.

Worth noting though about Sale...his average velocity in his dominant June 30th start vs. the Yankees was nearly 98 MPH. He was down around 91, like inger said, in his final start of the year. Also notable, he has pitched all of 17 innings since July 27th.
