Betances takes care of business. Yes, he did...I wasn’t too worked up about the base runners. Mostly because it was first and second and the lead runner was the catcher, but I got your drift there...One thing about this A’s team is that they almost have a tap root growing out their asses when they’re on base. Thirty five steals for the entire team... Does help that their base runners are a bunch of sloths. |

I haven’t read the thread, so this may have been talked about, but I think Sevy was tipping his pitches again. Those nasty sliders he was throwing they were just watching. Betances comes in and they’re whiffing. Might be overthinking it, but it seems strange Early on they were swinging at the sliders. I think the takes were in response to the earlier swings and misses, especially once the A’s figured out that was going to his go-to tonight... |
